Low Key & Painless This is second experience with Gateway Chevrolet. Our first experience 5 years ago when our daughter bought her first car was so great that we drove from the far east Valley all the way to Avondale for this purchase! We were just as thrilled this time. Our salesman was Alex Aguirre; low key, easy to talk to, no pressure. We found out that they are not paid a percentage commission, rather they are paid by the sale. So there is not pressure to purchase a higher priced vehicle, and even when negotiating the final amount we felt that he was on our side and would do everything he could to make the sale happen on our terms. We also had a conversation with the fairly new sales manager, Howard, who candidly explained his philosophy for making excellent deals with unpressured sales which ultimately spreads the word and buys him new and repeat customers. We highly recommend this dealership, you will not be disappointed. More

Great Customer Service Had a scratching in steering wheel when turning, they replaced the Airbag Coil, charge was $297, that did not fix the problem, it still scratched. The problem was the steering rack, they put a new rack in and gave me a credit of $297 for the Airbag coil against the cost of the steering rack...plus a 10% discount. First class dealership....they know how to keep a customer. Will definitely buy my next vehicle from Gateway Chevrolet. More
took my Malibu in for service After having taken my Malibu to a 3rd party mechanic shop for years I decided it was time to take it to someone who know the ins and outs of Chevy and After having taken my Malibu to a 3rd party mechanic shop for years I decided it was time to take it to someone who know the ins and outs of Chevy and thats what lead me to taking my car to the dealership. I had the best experience ever. When I picked my car up from the shop the next day it was a great feeling knowing that certified chevy mechanics had been taking care of it. Also, it turned out there were 3 MAJOR open recalls and they took care of all of them for me. My contact in the shop was Juan Martinez and after explaining to him the frustrations I've had with the 3rd party mechanic shop I had been using, he really took the time to explain to me the benefits of taking my car to the dealership to have it worked on by the people who have trained specifically to work on those cars. Its such a huge piece of mind that I think a lot of people dismiss because theres is the stigma of the dealer mechanic costing more. Turns out, thats not so true anymore. Dealership mechanics have competitive prices and then on top of that theres the piece of mind knowing the person working on your car has probably seen HUNDREDS of the same model and they know it like the back of their hand. Juan really made sure my Malibu was taken care of and we discussed future services that he recommended done in order to get another hundred thousand miles out of my car (currently clocking in at 108k) and I'm looking forward to taking it back in to Juan to get a tune up and the preventative maintenance we discussed. This was the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic shop. More
