Up until I purchased my Maxima at Gates Nissan, I absolutely used to HATE having to get service at a dealership. Historically, dealerships are known for charging too much, doing too little, and acti absolutely used to HATE having to get service at a dealership. Historically, dealerships are known for charging too much, doing too little, and acting like they are disgusted that you have walked through the door to do anything other than buy another car. Well, while I may still feel that way towards certain dealerships, that is certainly NOT the case at Gates Nissan. I am always extremely pleased with the service I receive especially at the service department. Can you believe it? Service in the Service Department? Are you kidding me? (I want the credit when you guys turn that slogan into a TV commercial Bill Gates!) But, seriously, I have had to bring my Maxima in for a few things as I bought it new in 2010 and I put a lot of miles on my car going to and from work. I have always received great customer service. From the answering of the phone, to the answering of my questions once I get someone on the other end of the line. I have always been greeted by a friendly smile once I walk in the door. It is just a downright pleasant experience each time I go to Gates Nissan. Employee-wise, I have dealt with Bill Case and Kathy in the service department for the majority of my visits in the past. This last time with my tire change I was introduced to an absolute jewel by the name of Jessica. She was sweet, charming, and also provided exceptional service. Now let's go into pricing. Gates Nissan provided tires CHEAPER than a particular tire chain that boasts the word "Discount" in their name. Fortunately, and unfortunately, Gates Nissan has been there as I have gone through home foreclosure, divorce, and my starting back in college to work on getting my undergraduate degree and I have always felt like I'm in good hands. I would recommend Gates Nissan to anyone, whether they are in the market for a Nissan or not. I will always purchase my vehicle from Gates. More
Wiring for trailer lights had a short and had to be replacded. It took 2 trips but the service person and mechanic were very helpful and it was not their fault it required a second visit. replacded. I purchased a Nissan Altima from a Chevrolet dealership and they only provided me one key. I needed to purchase a backup key FOB in case that one was lost or destroyed. The only thing that could've been and they only provided me one key. I needed to purchase a backup key FOB in case that one was lost or destroyed. The only thing that could've been better with the experience was the length of time it took to program the key FOB and I do not know if that was of any fault to the technicians that it took over an hour. I will try to come back to Gates Nissan when I am due an oil change or for service. Kathy Smith was very helpful and although they were busy and I did not make an appointment, they fit me in. I have always had great experiences with this dealer and this time was no exception. Kathy, my service advisor was very friendly and helpful. The repairs to my car were done in as timely a manner as possibl this time was no exception. Kathy, my service advisor was very friendly and helpful. The repairs to my car were done in as timely a manner as possible and since they had to order a part, they gave me a very nice loaner vehicle to drive while mine was being repaired. Luckily my repairs were under warranty so I wasn't out any expense for that part. The only thing I think could have been better was I was only reimbursed $75 out of a $125 towing bill which means I was out of pocket $50. For a warranty claim, I would think I should have been reimbursed 100%. Still it could have been a lot worse, and still a good experience from a great dealership. More

Excellent service as always for my 370Z. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They even replaced a part that was on recall (which I wasn't aware of) during my oil change. I called the service department at 9 AM on the day of my service and Kathy was able to book me at the requested time. I had an appointment in the area earlier than requested appointment time, the timing wor service and Kathy was able to book me at the requested time. I had an appointment in the area earlier than requested appointment time, the timing worked out great. I waited approximately 1 hour for the routine service to be completed. I appreciated that they were able to book the appointment and that the wait time was reasonable. I thank Gates for the service and the fact they clean your car before you leave. Good job. Thanks More
Kathy helped us get a rental car and get our car repaired. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. We have had our car in for service several times and it is always done with ease.
