Disappointed. Went to have a minor dent and some scratches removed from my new truck. Arrived at 7am to find my appointment had not been logged, the dent guy was no Went to have a minor dent and some scratches removed from my new truck. Arrived at 7am to find my appointment had not been logged, the dent guy was not available, nor was the shuttle that was supposed to provide transport to leave. After waiting an hour to attempt to get a PDR guy in, they decided to at least buff the scratches out for me. I took an uber to go get coffee and wait. After a couple hours or so, got the call that the truck was completed. Ubered back to inspect final job. Scratches were for most part gone......but, buffing compound was still visible on tailgate, after they "washed" it. Found sticky substance on side of truck that "must have been picked up from the street", after they washed it, somewhere between the shop and parking space I guess. Tire shine applied haphazardly to my wheels, which I NEVER use, with drip runs, uneven spray, and without rotating wheels. Was told the detail guy "was half blind, but the dealership won't send a new guy". I was disgusted at this point and only wanted to leave. I paid for the work and left. Received call next day as they "felt that I wasn't provided with quality work and left unhappy", possibly from the review I left them after having returned home.....They attempted to get an appointment for the dent, which failed due to my work/travel schedule, which means I will have to pay another show for work that they quoted and stated was "no big deal and can be done anytime". Never offered to rewash or detail my truck. Had to pay and do it myself. Extremely disappointed. After purchasing my vehicle from Gates, I expected better service. More
Oil change I never have a problem when I come here whether it's for a frequent oil change or anything else. Would definitely reccomend this place to others. Trustworthy I always know that when I take a vehicle here that the work will be done as quickly as possible and that it will be done the right way (no short cuts) I always know that when I take a vehicle here that the work will be done as quickly as possible and that it will be done the right way (no short cuts). I also appreciated being able to drop my car off before vacation then coming back and it was all done and ready! I was a bit disappointed I didn't get a free car wash this time (guess my care wasn't dirty enough--I'll make sure it is next time). ;-) More

consider looking elsewhere They kept changing the estimate for the repair, saying there were parameters given by the insurance company that they had to follow. But then later, after I asked for a new "skin" for the door that had the most damage and had been told that I would have to pay more, the insurance company told me that the new skin should have been ordered in the first place. The estimate was first $3,400, then went to $3,200. But then when I asked for the new "skin", I was told I would have to pay $330 more out of pocket, then later it was $450 out of pocket. This was in addition to my deductible- I was told it was more since I had asked for it. Again, the insurance agent told me the skin should have been ordered from the beginning and he made sure that I did not have to pay more out of pocke. Things got better with the shop when someone else took over management of my repair. I was directed to go to this location by my insurance and they told me themselves they are the best in the area and have been in business of over 90 years. I doubt I will ever use them again. It was a very bad experience. Felt like they were playing me since I am female- giving me misinformation about my repair and my out of pocket costs. More

When I expressed this concern, he rudely informed me that I was wasting his time and if I want an estimate I need to come back on another day when the insurance company's estimator is on site and that he cant help me. Being frustrated enough as is, I made the (wrong) decision to just go ahead and let his team handle my repairs. Big mistake. Not only are the after market parts Swanson hyped up cheap garbage, they didnt even fix any of the mechanical issues that appeared after the collision so I have a bunch of lights on in the dash. Not to mention they were so cheap they put the damaged license plate light bulb from the old trunk in the new one. They replaced a headlamp unit that didnt need replacing, but failed to align it with the other lamp so my headlights point in two different directions. Just overall not happy with the job considering how much they charged us (insurance and I) for it. At least now I know to shop locally and never trust another corporate body shop again. More

For body work, the estimate process is very smooth and the work on my vehicles has always been timely and high quality. More
