I have dealt with McKenny Chevrolet for the past 5 years. I would have to say that your service department is the best I have ever dealt with. I have recently purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Pick-up at McKenney. It was actually a pleasure buying this vehicle. Here are the reasons why: 1. There was zero pressure in the sales process. Excessive pressure always drives me away from a sale. 2. Bill Starke and Randy Woods actually worked together to execute the sales process. Both Gentlemen answered all of my questions and just made everything go very easily. 3. The business process went very smoothly. Robert Jacobs had the paperwork completed very quickly and continued to search for the best financing up until the close of the sale. The finance rate was reduced 3 times during this time due to banking information coming in at different and later stages. 4.The overall work process was well managed and executed. 5. I feel good about the deal I received. The discounts presented to me were enough to close the deal. 6. I will do business again with McKenney GM because of these reasons. Thanks, Hawkins Cook More
I searched the internet for a Buick (my son recommended McKenney) and I liked the Verano. T hen I spotted the cutest little red Encore SUV but I was concerned that I might not be able to easily get into McKenney) and I liked the Verano. My husband and I decided to just go to the dealership and see but not talk to a salesperson. I am 81 and our son was going to handle the purchase when I found the car I wanted. We pulled into the lot and right in front of the building sat "MY" car with all doors open, the hood up and the trunk open - just like it was ready and waiting for me! Kari greeted us and asked if we would like to try it out but I explained our situation and she very graciously gave us some information. Incidentally, I was thrilled with the memory seat (I was able to get in and out with ease ) I told her we would call when we decided on the car - she never was overbearing and did not try to push us. Jace also was very friendly and understanding. My son called Jace the next morning and they agreed on the price and we met them at 2 PM. Kari very efficiently completed the paperwork, introduced us to the finance manager (I do not remember his name) and he explained each paper as we signed. He was also very courteous and knowledgeable. Kari took us to the Service Dept. and introduced us to Cliff Calvert, the Service Manager, who gave us info about bringing the car back for service. We went out the door and there sat my adorable car, all shiny, washed and gased -ready to go home. This was truly an enjoyable purchase with no overbearing sales pitch. We are thoroughly satisfied with the friendly, courteous and caring staff at McKenney and I love love love my little red Encore SUV! Thanks for all your help! More
Mr. Reid helped me to purchase a vehicle for my son who is in school in North Carolina. I could not be there to visually inspect the vehicle so he took the vehicle to the home of my cousin who also lives w is in school in North Carolina. I could not be there to visually inspect the vehicle so he took the vehicle to the home of my cousin who also lives within the State. He has committed to sending me the paperwork and after receiving the documents in return is even going as far as driving the vehicle to my son on campus some 40 plus miles away. Maybe it is just southern hospitality but I must say I have never seen service like this. My thanks to the entire McKenney team for the way that you guys do business. More
My salesman was pretty good about returning my calls promptly. He was pleasant throughout my car buying experience and so was the youngman (Scott I think) that worked with him. The only issue I had was I really needed a car with navigation since my wife is a realtor. The ATS we got had CUE (nice) but no navigation. From what I understood there was a black ATS with nav for 5k more (ouch!). Since we couldn't go 5k more for the navigation we had to settle for one without. However, we were offered On-Star directions for an additional 12mos. free. Another issue I didn't particularly like was the finance guy told me I had to purchase the SmartLease Protect at a cost of $899.00 since they didn't make me pay a security deposit . I was surprised by this revelation upon closing the deal. More
I have bought and sold many cars in my time and all I can say is that this dealership was amazing. We brokered the deal over the phone and were treated as if we were right there in front of them. I dealt with their internet department, specifically with Angelia and her co-workers and all I can say is that they were amazing. They dealt with my wife and then dealt with me and the whole time they were professional and very clear with their intentions and I had no thought or feelings as if they were trying to get something over on me. It is a very refreshing feeling to know that there are dealers out there that don't do that. I drove 3 hours to purchase the car and as soon as I arrived there was a sign in the car with my name on it and it looked as if it had just come off the showroom floor. I was in and out of the dealership with a test drive, a trade-in, and financing all within an hour and all I can say is that is AWESOME!!! Excellent dealership and staff!!! More

The decision to purchase a new vehicle is a great one. I took my my time and researched the vehicle I was interested in, so I thought the process would be easy. The first Cadillac dealership I went too was the most awful experience I have ever encountered. I decided to give this another shot, at another dealership ( McKenney Cadilliac ) in Lowell, NC.
