My husband and I were ignored by 3 staff members talking to each other on the sales floor for about 5 minutes. We also waited for a man on the front desk phone to hang up and when he did he ignored us and went to 2 young girls who had just come in the door behind us. We left very upset and thinking what was wrong with us that they did not want to try and sell us a car!! we sent an email to customer service explaining what happened and Paris set up an appointment to get us assistance. We went in as scheduled and no one had a clue what to do. we waited 30 minutes for an "appointment" and thought we would be assisted and possibly explained to why or apologized to but it was just a sales pitch by some sweet young girls who had no clue about the car and the manager had not even been told what had happened to us. Actually the Manager could not even be bothered to come out and talk to us about our experience when the salesgirl told him we wanted to let him know how his staff treated people. Never been so insulted and disgusted with customer service any where at any time!! They lost out on a 40k deal as we drove to Daytona - where we were treated exceptionally!!! and bought a jeep we were so turned off on Ford!!! More
Amazing group of People, Greg Baker & team! I was fully committed to the purchase of a used car at another dealership. After going back and forth with a friend over why I should think about a ford and not the other car. I was convinced to go and take a look and a test drive. I went into the dealership to meet with Greg Baker he and a member of his team showed me different options in my price range. He explained the difference from a used car to a ford certified car. I did end up going with the ford certified. Greg and his team member went beyond my expectations. I was extremely nervous about buying and they were very patient with me. Greg set me up with Julia in Finance and she was wonderful. Went over many options and explained all the paperwork in great detail. My experience was fantastic and that was 100% because of the people, Greg Baker, his team and Julia in the finance dept. For me to recommend Ford of Ocala to anyone it would have to be with the understanding of working with Greg and his team! More

I brought a vehicle that was less than a year old and under the new vehicle still covered under the initial bumper to bumper warranty in to have warranty work done, and the customer service was horrendous. They tried telling me that plugging a usb cord into the dash was the same as "crashing the car into a wall and expecting them to fix it." they told me they would give me a price on the part in an hour and call me back, but they never called. The sales manager did nothing but argue with me when two of the prongs in the port were straight and two were bent but my usb cable plugs into every other device I have without issue and functions flawlessly. I was so infuriated I almost traded my vehicle in for one of another make, but cooler heads prevailed and I called Key Ford in leesburg. The service department there was wonderful and they agreed to take me in on short notice and warranty out the part. Ladies and gentlemen do not be conned into buying a vehicle at ford of Ocala my family has dealt with Key Ford in the past and they have always been more than helpful. More

I had been working with a small local dealer for month Matt helped my husband and I when we were just looking at cars to compare what color I wanted. I had been working with a small local dealer for months and not one time did they reach out to me. I called and emailed Matt many times trying to make sure I was getting the right package (which I had no clue I could do) for the car I was getting. He worked hard to help me. He even came in on his time off to help us cause we live over a hour away. He never complained, always answered with a smile and always very courteous. This is my first Ford, because of Matt I will always go there and recommend others to him. Everyone in that dealership is friendly. He made sure our whole experience was great. I did what I usually do find a couple of dealers with the vehicle I am interested in and neg with all of them to see who can do a better deal. This car was for my grandfather and he knew what he wanted, cash in hand. So Paris gives me a price that beats all the other car dealers buy 6k. I had questions for her like is that with the 5k rebate if financing through ford bc we have cash. She wouldn't clarify. I asked for buyers order that the other dealers sent me with breakdown of price and dealer fees tax tag title so I knew exactly what to expect. Paris would not send me one. Every time I kept asking for clarification on price and what extra fees there were she only said $599 dealer fee. I wanted to save money but after not answer my simple questions I started to feel there was something sketchy going on. I spoke to another dealer and said Ocala Ford can go this low can you beat them. The sales man at Park Ford in Gainesville said they get alot of Ocala Fords business bc they hide fees and all of a sudden you get there and its not what you expected and people come to them bc they are so unorganized and un professional. So I told her about this new info I heard and she responds like all the other times not with an answer to clarify my question but responds with we look forward to seeing you or I heard before we will do anything to earn your business. How about answering my questions to earn my business? She did finally say there is an extra $1500 dealer add on fee....?!?!? You know how made I would have been to drag my grandfather out of town to Ocala saying everything is ready and set up to get there and find out lies. I expressed my frustration of why my questions were not be answered and asked them again .....no message back so I started to deal with Parks bc I was not feeling right about Ocala Ford and Parks was not only able to get price down but we ended up buying a 2016 instead of 2015 for the same as the 2015. Beware of Ocala Ford and their shady sales and not telling you everything up front. Also heard that they neg price and all of a sudden when you get there do you not only have extra fees but you all of a sudden don't qualify for rebates that they neg in your price. which is probably why she wouldn't give me a written figure before I went up there and why she wouldn't answer my question about paying cash not being able to use the ford finance 5k rebate that I asked her to clarify that the price she gave me didn't include that rebate. Very shady place I would recommend to go to Parks Ford. More

Since it was really hot outside, salesperson asked if we would mind looking through their inventory online with him. We agreed. Their network was extremely slow. It was taking over a minute to refresh the screen every time he make a selection. After 15-20 minutes of this painful process, he pulled an invoice of a vehicle he thought we might like. He then tried looking online for another car, but after another 10 minutes could not get an inventory list pulled up on the computer. I asked to see the sales manager - he sail that there were 3 of them in the corner office. We walked to the corner office and found one on them there. I explained the issue with their network being so slow. He said that the wireless was not working. I asked why he did not let us know about the situation, since we were the only people there and were sitting with a salesperson only 15 feet away. He just shrugged it off. I let him know that I thought he was extremely inconsiderate of both our time and the salesperson's time. He just did not care - obviously we left. I have never been to a dealership where they cared so little about their potential customers!! More
Absolutely zero follow-through and still no results I attempted to order a vehicle from this location in March. Was told 4-6 weeks, then 2 weeks in I was told that the original quote was wrong and it wo I attempted to order a vehicle from this location in March. Was told 4-6 weeks, then 2 weeks in I was told that the original quote was wrong and it would be 6-8 weeks. At the 6 week mark I was told it would be 8 weeks and that "they wouldn't let us put in an order if we could not get it to you within the 6-8 week timeline." The Monday of the same week the 8-week mark was (that Friday) I reached out to get information and was told to "cross my fingers nothing happened during production." Then that Friday I was told the vehicle had not arrived and they didn't know when it would. Then after getting the manager involved they stated that the vehicle still showed pending and should only show pending for the first two weeks and then go to 'building' status. Throughout this entire process, I as the customer have always had to be the one reaching out and with little results as far as communication. Even the manager committed to calling me the Tuesday after the 8-week deadline and I received no call. I did receive a call from someone the Monday following the Tuesday commitment asking if I wanted to buy a car off the lot instead. I will never even visit this dealer for service or sales again. I will drive to Parks Ford where I purchased a 2015 Fusion the day after Memorial Day. More
