We were looking for a new SUV lease and John Nashmy was very helpful. For someone who is technology challenged, I was impressed with the knowledge that John had on the New Explorer along with the technica very helpful. Purcased my vehicle on Aug 28,2012 on the date of purchased I mentioned to my salesman that I thought that there was an oil leak. The salesman took it to the service dept. came back and said no it's purchased I mentioned to my salesman that I thought that there was an oil leak. The salesman took it to the service dept. came back and said no it's not a leak it just looks like one because we recently changed the oil. At this time my husband was away in VA getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan so I thought that I could trust what the dealership was telling me I didn't realize they would take advantage of me! Here we are in Jan. 2013 I took the car to the Jeep Dealer to have the transmission checked because it was giving me a hard downshift. Come to find out it also has an oil leak! I went straight next door to Gary Yeomans and talked to the manager of my salesguy. The manager stated that I should know that when I purchase a used vehicle that things can go wrong and there is no warranty and that its a little late to be coming back. My reply was I understand that but I told you in the begining I thought something was wrong and you lied to me also it's been 5 months because it's not like I was going to take the car in right after I purchased it. He then said that it was my fault for believing them then and I shouldn't have purchsed the vehicle. He was condescending and rude, he got frustrated with me and went to get his GM which I never saw by the way and waited an hour. Although he was frustrated he origianl manager came back and proceeded to sell me another car when I told him that it wasnt possible my husband was in Afghanistan and couldnt send mail out nor did I have a power of attorney his answer was there is ways around that. He pawned me off to a salesman which I wasn't interested in but I did it while waiting for the GM. The salesman couldnt wait to get rid of me because he was in the middle of selling other cars and I wasnt a profit to him. After looking the salesman said are you done and then just walked away leaving me to go back inside where I then couldn't find anyone to talk to. This company made me feel like I was dealing with a sleezy car lot. I am so disgusted at the way I was treated! I understand that there are no warranties but I feel that they should take some responsibilty for their actions! He offered to fix the car cheaper then the Jeep dealer that was his solution. More
Stay away, this is the kind of place that gives dealerships a bad name. Horrible customer service and they just flat out lie. Found a truck on eBay. Called them up to make arrangements prior to dealerships a bad name. Horrible customer service and they just flat out lie. Found a truck on eBay. Called them up to make arrangements prior to coming down, (I'm in Atlanta). They take a deposit on Friday and on Saturday call me and say the truck has been sold. Oh well, but that's funny they didn't take it off eBay. 2 hours later I win the auction, they call, you won the truck. I was like great, didn't think it was there anymore, but could understand how there would be confusion, because by this time I had already spoke to four or five different people trying to get help. Then financing options that were approved and available before hand are all of a sudden not available....no problem I'll bring a check. I let the guy on the phone know I was tired of being jerked around, I had accepted every offer they put on the table, tired of not being called back and the deposit was paid and a plane ticket was bought so i'd bring a check and pick the truck in the morning. Not 5 mins later, 6:45 on a Sunday, the supposed GM calls, with the lies his team has filled him full of and tells me the car was sold, yet again. Which at that point I really didn't care as they made the experience so awful that I wanted nothing to do with the truck at that point anyway. Told the GM just refund the deposit and my plane ticket. Which was only 150 and they wanted a receipt. WoW! Trust issues maybe? Stay far, far away from this place. More
I'm going to be fair and say that I would recommend this dealership. However, all of my visits include a numerous amount of sales staff hovering the lot like a bunch of hungry sharks. It gives the appea dealership. However, all of my visits include a numerous amount of sales staff hovering the lot like a bunch of hungry sharks. It gives the appearance that they don't let their employees inside the building at all. It turns me away and makes me not even want to get out of the vehicle when I pull in. But that's just me. More
You would think that when you visit a dealership to test drive a car, you could actually drive the car the way you always drive. The salesman criticized my driving the entire time, would not let me drive th drive a car, you could actually drive the car the way you always drive. The salesman criticized my driving the entire time, would not let me drive the car any farther the he wanted to go and was rude on top of it. They lost this sale to another Mazda dealer because of it. I already knew I loved the car, I just wasn't going to buy it from them. More
Went to purchase a car that was advertised at a specific price. Got there and even after all the ad's and salesperson Carlos Calzada saying the price was $23,998.00 it morphed into $25,998.00. Why don't the price. Got there and even after all the ad's and salesperson Carlos Calzada saying the price was $23,998.00 it morphed into $25,998.00. Why don't they just put the price the right way the first time? Why all the games, why all the double talk? Had it reviewed by another competitor and found out they screwed me out of at least 4K. Jacked the price of the purchased car, raised the trade in allowance and then tacked on a dealer fee that they knew I told them I refused to pay. So in the end AVOID Gary Yeomans Ford at all costs. If you want a true deal and no games visit Mullinax Ford in New Smyrna. Gary Yeomans Ford is a crooked dealer in which I will never do business with again and I recommend that anyone thinking of buying there avoid it at all costs. More
