Total Mistreatment of the Customer I asked the service center to look attempt to determine why the service engine light was on when I took my F-150 in for a recall notice that I receive I asked the service center to look attempt to determine why the service engine light was on when I took my F-150 in for a recall notice that I received in the mail. They determined that there was PCV valve issue and suggested replacing it. considering that I use this vehicle to tow a trailer for work I opted to have them fix it. Unfortunately the light came back on with a few hours of leaving the dealership. I took it back the next morning and they determined that the cam synchronizer needed adjustment. I just had a new one installed at another shop two weeks earlier. The service center convinced me that it needed to be adjusted but they also noticed that it was an aftermarket part as opposed to OEM. Their recommendation was to replace it for $300 dollars labor and $300 for the part. I chose to do that based on their recommendation. That was three days ago and I still do not have my truck back. I was told that it would only take a few hours to do the job and should have been able to pick it up this past Wednesday. I did not hear from them so decided to drop by around 5:00 P.M. since they close at 6:00 P.M. I was told that the technician was having difficulty with the fix and would most likely work late so I could have the truck the next morning. All day Thursday went by with no call. I finally called them around 4:30 concerned that I needed the truck that night to prepare for towing my trailer out of town on Friday for an event a couple hours away. I was unsuccessful in getting hold of anyone that new what was going on with the truck and was told that they would call me back. No call back, so I dropped by again and was told that the truck was still not put back together because it was fighting the technician. I told the service guy that I either needed my truck fixed or they needed to provide me with another one to fulfill my work obligation. That's when the dance and spin began. To shorten the story I was basically accused of being at fault for having made the decision to put an aftermarket part in the truck previously. Basically I am out of luck and they still are holding my truck hostage and I am in jeopardy of losing my job because of it. What galls the most is the attitude of the Service Manager and his accusations that since they couldn't fix the vehicle that it was somehow my fault. If they are so adamantly opposed to aftermarket parts then why did they agree to continue to work on the vehicle? Has it really taken them three days to put in their beloved OEM part? Why? Bottom-line? Avoid this dealership's service department at all costs, and in particular the service manager. Particularly if you are like most people and have a used, out-of-warranty vehicle. They live in a delusional world where everybody should only utilize the authorized dealer and original parts. That is not reality since vehicles and their upkeep are so expensive, not to mention the fact that the dealerships alone can't handle all the work that needs to be done on all the used cars that are becoming more common as affordability is more challenging. I assumed, wrongly, that the dealership would be best equipped to diagnose and fix the problem on my truck. Obviously I regret getting sucked back into the dealer arena and will avoid it at all costs in the future. More

only one minor concern I brought the car in for recall service and the service tech was pleasant and helpful The service was done promptly. My only concern is with your "f I brought the car in for recall service and the service tech was pleasant and helpful The service was done promptly. My only concern is with your "free car wash for life" promise. Both my husband and I bought cars there in 2013. My car wash RFID does not work and hasn't since about a month after the purchase. My husband has the same experience, although he has called twice and they have reset his so it would work, for a while. Not sure if it is presently working. The car wash is a nice benefit but nothing critical - I would rather you didn't offer it than offer something that doesn't work. More
