We're sorry to hear that you left feeling frustrated. We understand how disappointing it is to experience paint concerns with your vehicle, especially when you're hoping for manufacturer assistance. Our dealership is required to follow Kia's warranty and goodwill guidelines. The paint warranty on your 2013 Optima expired many years ago, and goodwill assistance is determined by Kia based on factors such as the vehicle's age, repair loyalty and eligibility. Unfortunately, a 15-year-old vehicle does not qualify under the current goodwill criteria, so we were not able to submit or obtain coverage on your behalf. Our goal is never to dismiss a customer's concerns, but rather to provide accurate information about what options are available. We're sorry if that was not the experience you felt you received. If you would like to discuss your visit further, please contact our Service Manager directly. We would be happy to review your concerns and answer any remaining questions.

It’s 13 years old and it’s a well known issue and Corporate said you had to file for goodwill and you refused to!!! Corporate knew how old the car was and told me to have you file for me!!! So you are a liar!! You literally told us you wouldn’t file because I had my oil changed somewhere else!! Horrible people!!! Don’t buy Kia!!! Lesson learned!!
