I brought my car in for recalls and clearly explained that I have an interlock device. I told the service team that if they needed to put power to the car, I would need to be present, or they could call the interlock company to bypass it. They assured me it would not be a problem, but it became one. My car was locked out, and I had to pay $75 to reset it. When I raised this concern, the staff was dismissive and not helpful. The supervisor I spoke with was especially unprofessional and rude, even yelling at me and saying, “who’s going to pay us to sit on the phone for 30 minutes to get that code?” This entire situation could have been avoided if they had listened to me or followed the proper process. Very disappointed with how I was treated, and I would not recommend this dealership.

Thank you for the feedback. While we don’t see a high volume of interlock devices, we have plenty of experience working with them as a former Intoxalock installer. We're always happy to support our customers, and in this case, we are fully behind helping provide proof that the vehicle was on-site using the GPS data from the unit and contesting any service disruptions that may be caused.

It’s only now, after I shared my experience publicly, that you’re offering to “help.” When I was there in person and upfront about the interlock device, I was told it would not be a problem. Yet my car was locked out after service and I had to pay $75 to fix it. If your team truly had the experience you claim as a former Intoxalock installer, this should never have happened in the first place. What bothers me most is that the willingness to step in and support only came after the fact, once your reputation was at stake. Customers deserve honest solutions and accountability up front — not after being forced to complain publicly.
