Your dealership offered no help or solution to me, not an estimate to repair the vehicle at Garvey, Feed have me my keys and sent me on my way to deal with this matter on my own.I guess Garvey does not help people who need a transmission. Maybe you can help me with A price on getting it fixed.

Garvey Hyundai responded

We did not offer any repair estimate to fix your vehicle at the time you picked it up for a couple reasons.First, you had indicated that you were still "working on it" and we took this to mean you were still seeking to obtain assistance from Hyundai at the Consumer Connect phone number we had supplied. Secondly, to be honest, we felt that discussing pricing for the repairs at that time, would have actually added to your frustration. If this was an incorrect assumption, I apoligize. At this time, after discussing your situation with the owner, I would like to extend this offer. We would be willing to replace your transmission at a price of $1500.00 including tax. This price would include a factory remanufactured transmission,Hyundai transmission fluid, and the transmission cooler flushing agent. It would also include labor to replace the transmission,flush the cooler, and computer reset of the transmission controller. The normal retail price of this repair would be $2612.00.The warranty on the replacement transmission would be 12 months/12,000 miles.This warranty would cover parts and labor in the event that the replacement transmission failed and required replacement.

Your advisor Scott told me Hyundai declined the coverage, how can I continue to work on it if I am the customer when you are the dealer, if Garvey Hyundai can't get a warranty claim covered,as a Hyundai affiliate, how can I . The use of B G fluids is accepted by your dealership and Lia Hyundai for transmission fluid changes for hyundais under m anufactures warranty. I do appreciate the offer but that is not acceptable to me at this time.

Garvey went to bat with the factory for me after Hyundai of America declined my claim. Thanks Fred Cooper and Garvey for helping me with my warranty claim. I will always recommended Garvey to my friends and family.
