I am Patricia R Freebern. I'm a Senior Citizen. I have been dealing with Hyundai Garvey Motors for over 20 years. On Thursday, 11am on March 13th, I came in for a service appo I'm a Senior Citizen. I have been dealing with Hyundai Garvey Motors for over 20 years. On Thursday, 11am on March 13th, I came in for a service appointment on my 2013 Elantra. Upon checking out the car, they discovered under carriage rust and said it wasn't safe. I decided it was time for a new safer car. I met with Mark Goodwin and we discussed a variety of options for me to consider. He explained everything, answered all my questions and showed me a few models. He was very patient with an old lady. When I decided to lease a 2025 Elantra and Mark showed me all the important factors about the car and how to use them. I told him I had tickets for a show that night and I was the driver for my friends. He said he'd do his best to get me out by 3pm. He was a man of his word, I left Hyundai Motors with my new car at 2:45pm. My friends couldn't believe I was in and out so quickly. I've been back to give him the title for the 2013 and to set up Auto Pay. Mark has been wonderful and I lucked out having him. More

Initially, they offered a financing rate of 6.99%, but after pressing for the 2.99% offer, they finally agreed to $33,500 (tax and title included) at 2.99% APR. **ProTip:** Use apps like CARGURUS and ROADMAG to find competitive prices and insist that the dealership match them. ### Additional Costs After finalizing the sale price and payment terms, the Finance Manager (Don) aggressively pushed unnecessary extras like the Environmental Package. Initially priced at $1,800, he pressured me until I reluctantly agreed to $500 after negotiating with the owner (Kyle). **ProTip:** If you really want the Environmental Package, you can haggle it down to $500 from $1,800. ### Discriminatory Treatment My friend and I experienced blatant discrimination. When my friend, who is of African descent, fell in their unsalted parking lot, the dealership hesitated to call an ambulance and showed no compassion. The owner even yelled at us to leave, treating us with shocking rudeness and dismissiveness. I only wonder if we had a different skin tone we would be treated differently. ProTip: If you are a colored person avoid this dealership. Car Pickup Issues When picking up the car, it had an undisclosed scratch and dent. The owner suggested painting over it, which is unacceptable for a brand-new car. Due to this dishonesty, I canceled the deal. The dealership knew about the dent and did not disclose it.
