Garrett Motors Chevrolet Buick GMC - Service Center

I have been going here for 4 hrs. Took my truck in today for full service, change oil,filter and fuel filter and tire rotation. They did not rotate tires. For oil,filter and fuel filter. I have been a professional mechanic for 50 years but anyone can see that the wheels were not taken off. That makes me wonder if they changed the oil filters. They didn't wash the vehicle like the add says. I do not recommend this business any more. And you must take all your personal things out they went through mine. It's is very sad, can't trust people to do there job like they should. More

Failure to communicate best describes the initial concerns. When I as a customer provide clear documented evidence contradicting JD's excuses, he slings disrespectful insults, accuses me of false actions, and expresses that if we are going to verify pricing with other dealers then Garrett won't honor their commitments any more and we are to obtain our service at the local dealers that verified Garrett was charging above MSRP on their parts. JD told me my previous VMs to his father would not be responded to and that we are not welcome at Garrett. You always learn more about someone in how they deal with challenges more so than when everything is fluffy going well. JD has no interest in learning/listening to where they failed or how to improve. He is reactive, prefers to make excuses, and is very protective of his profits; but insulting of me for being protective of my dollars. He offered to call in the other rude employee (quietly sitting on another side of wall) and fire him in front of me without fully listening and understanding all that took place. Very one-sided. This is our first experience with JD and our previous quality experiences were with 2 service representatives that have departed Garrett Motors. We regret the confrontational approach demonstrated towards us and predict there will be a distorted response that will follow this review. That is fine. We know what happened and for those that read this and absorb it, we will be the better for it. Best wishes for growth JD. We forgive you as we make mistakes as well. Called ahead for an oil change on my 2013 Corvette Grand Sport to see if they could service the dry sump manual transmission car. They assured me of their abilities and I made the appointment. The owners manual states oil capacity of 10.5 quarts of oil, the service department returned my Corvette with less than six quarts of oil. I noted the engine running rough later that day and checked the oil finding the dip stick dry and that the invoice only quoted 6 quarts installed. My experience was painful costing me much bragging rights about Chevy's overall quality as my Vett now has a chatter in the engine but a warranty repair of the engine is unwarranted according to Chevrolet because it still runs. This was an awful experience leaving me holding the bag on a new Grand Sport with a damaged engine. More
