"We moved you up to priority one" what ever that means. Long story short, we cancelled the order and went to Glenn Polk in Gainesville where they had one in stock which we purchased. More
I want to share with you the WORST experience with BMW service at Garlyn Shelton Temple. Be cautious ordering from G. Randall, Part manager, he has not sense of urgency when it comes to you as a customer, service at Garlyn Shelton Temple. Be cautious ordering from G. Talked to three reps and got different information, I decided to call the executives making the big bucks, after talking to Michael Lindberg, the key fob was in my hands in 24 hours. The techs did not know MY CAR DO NOT NEED PROGRAMMING but still they wanted me to town my car in and pay more money for the programing. In general, the car is great the service around here STINKS! GO and do the trip to Austin BMW to get better service and that human touch with it. Regards, JD More
I had my volvo towed from another dealership to this volvo dealer for oil leaks. After having it for a few days, the service department called and said it would be 2300.00 to fix the leaks, belts etc. A volvo dealer for oil leaks. I asked him about a military discount and he said he could Apply one, so I gave him the go ahead to do the work. Several days I get a call to pick up the vehicle because it was finished. I went in and the bill was over 400.00 more than we had agreed and no military discount or anything. I questioned Mike & Joe and they said they could take 100.00 off. That really hurt my fixed income budget. How can this business get away with taking advantage of customers that trust that they will repair their vehicles as expected and not charge them more than the agreed upon price after diagnosis of the vehicle. Then as I was driving home straight from the dealership, a warning light comes on saying urgent the passengers airbag isn’t working. I’m like that light wasn’t on before what’s going on with that. When I called the dealership of course they wanted me to bring it back for another diagnostic fee. More
I would give them less than one star if that was an option. We go back for the oil change that we were told was included, the first one took 3 hours and even though we were told the truck would be detailed it was not. The next time we took it in for an oil change and because it was shifting hard. We drop it off at 9:30 am and hear nothing all day. Finally at 5p I call only to be told that my transmission needed flushed and apparently I had denied this service. I explain that's not possible since I haven't heard from anyone. They at first say it's a computer glitch then blame it on an elderly employee. They proceed to do the service but want to charge me for it and the oil change even though I purchased all the extended warranty bumper to bumper stuff.....remember it's only been 45 days I still have paper tags....customer service is a joke to say the least and my truck isn't fixed and is still having issues so we may have to pursue the lemon law against this dealership. Go to a dealership that actually cares because these people don't. I own 2 businesses and if I ran either one like this I'd be out of business in a heartbeat More
I go in today, Saturday May 15, 2021 at 7:30am at Garlyn Shelton for the recall on the brake pedal. My check engine light has been on and was told they could do a free multi point inspection. I asked how much it would be to run a diagnostic test which they responded $138.00. After a wait, likely because of the recall, I was provided an estimate of work that needed to be done which did not include any work which would need to be done after the diagnostic test. Here is the breakdown of the $1,940.80 work they said needed to be done. Repair oil leaks of just under $200.00. Now I work from home and my vehicle is parked in the same place in my driveway and stays there for days at a time and sometimes weeks at a time. I do not have one drop of oil on my cement driveway. Diagnostic test of $276.00 which was double of what I was told when I made the appointment. Replace the cabin air filter $60.00 which is just another add on. Which mine is fine. Replace the air filter $41.95 which is just another add on. Which mine is fine. A/C Flush for $95.95 which they also automatically add on because of the upcoming hot weather even if you don’t have any issues with your air conditioning, which I don’t have any issues. Fuel system injection service and fuel treatment for $199.96 which did not show up on the free test they ran which is the same test Auto Zone does for free. If there was a fuel system injection issue it would appear on this initial test. Brake fluid exchange for $159.95 which does not need to be done because my brake fluid is clean and there is not any leaking. Replace belts and tensioner for $501.17 which is a high add on but I will admit it would be a good idea to change out the belts but that is not $501.17 but in fact maybe $60.00 and a pizza to have someone come over and help me put on new belts. Rear differential service for $159.85. My vehicle is mostly driven on the highway and since there is not any abnormal wear on the tires or any leaks then a differential service is not needed. If my truck were a few years older then I would consider it. Oil change for $78.00 which is always good to keep up with but I just had the oil changed last month and the sicker was clearly in the window, I even made sure they did not do an oil change because someone had scheduled an oil change for me this morning when I made it clear when I made the appointment I did not need an oil change. Tire rotation for $25.00 which I had done with Discount Tire about 3 months ago for free. Tire balance for $50.00 which I do not understand that by just looking at a tire you can tell that all 4 tires need to be balanced. Besides, Discount Tire also does this for free. HOWEVER, there is 1 item I need to get fixed BUT the Garlyn Shelton service department did not even find it. (I am surprised they did not include that I needed wiper blades.) But what needs repaired is that when I go to spray my windows with wiper fluid no fluid is sprayed onto the window. I would have thought they would have found this issue in their multi point inspection but alas they did not. So, when it comes down to it the work they said required $1,940.80 was simply a big lie. (Of course I lied too, just to see what their response would be, such as saying I didn’t know anything about mechanics. The less knowledge I indicated about mechanics the more emphasis was put on getting everything fixed and they would even provide me with a vehicle to use. I also kinda lied about something else but it is more of just not letting them know, is that I am familiar with the legal system having ran my own law firm. This includes deception and detrimental reliance which can be costly especially when damages are allowed to be trebled as well as additional punitive damages which juries love to give to plaintiffs.) I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE with Garlyn Shelton GMC. My sales lady Debbie was AWESOME from start to finish no hassle. She did everything she could to make sure I got my car. The Finanace manager An My sales lady Debbie was AWESOME from start to finish no hassle. She did everything she could to make sure I got my car. The Finanace manager Anthony Franklin followed up with a better experience, he made sure I got the car payments to where I needed them to be. Overall I'd recommend anyone to buy here. Great group of people to work with. More

The car went back and their lame xxx no knowledge mechanics said nothing was wrong with it and they would turn off the light. My son took the car to Automax to get recalls done and they stated to my son it needed more than 4 thousand dollars worth of work so we contacted garlyn shelton Jake said there was nothing he could do and hung up in our faces. Went and got a service history of the car and seen at the bottom that the mechanic advised this car not be sold so they sold a car knowingly it had problems this shows garlyn shelton have a bunch of thieves and liars and very unprofessional people working there along with stealing innocent peoples money and selling unsafe cars that are garbage. More
