On March 15, 2025, I took my car to Gardena Nissan (1670 W. Redondo Beach Blvd., Gardena, CA 90247) for an oil and filter change. I was assisted by Brianna, who initially told me the service would take one W. Redondo Beach Blvd., Gardena, CA 90247) for an oil and filter change. I was assisted by Brianna, who initially told me the service would take one hour. After an hour passed, I texted Brianna to ask how much longer it would take. She responded that it would be another 30 minutes. When those 30 minutes passed, I reached out again—no response. After waiting even longer with no update, I had to go find her myself to get an answer. She then told me it would take “a few more minutes,” which turned into even more waiting. While waiting inside the lobby, I noticed that the area was not clean and the employees were loudly discussing politics, which is highly unprofessional and inappropriate for a workplace, especially when customers can hear. When it was finally time to pay, I went to the service booth and waited on the other side for my car. At this point, an employee from the booth came out and noticed I was upset about the long, frustrating experience. Instead of offering an apology or a solution, he was incredibly rude and disrespectful. He mockingly called me “Felicia,” which I found to be racially insensitive and completely unacceptable. When I corrected him, he laughed in my face and then called me “Branda” (also not my name). When I decided to step away from him to avoid further confrontation, he sarcastically asked, “Where do you live?” When I answered San Bernardino, he rudely replied, “Why did you even come here anyway?” This level of disrespect, unprofessionalism, and lack of customer service is beyond unacceptable. As a loyal, paying customer, I should never be treated this way—especially at a dealership I trusted with my vehicle. I have been to many Nissan locations, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The lack of communication, unclean environment, poor time management, and outright rude and offensive behavior make it clear that this location does not care about its customers. I will never return to this location, and I strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs. I will also be escalating this issue to Nissan corporate because no customer should have to deal with this kind of disrespect and unprofessionalism. More
