Again, I cannot stress this enough. Ali and Emilio were incredible. I originally called the dealership to inquire about my current vehicle and spoke to a salesman named Christopher. I already had a number from another dealership and asked Chris if you guys were affiliated with the Costco auto program. He said yes and I asked the price for the vehicle. Costco auto program works via adding a fee to the dealer invoice price of the car, often going under msrp and he gave me a price of 31,500. At any affiliated dealership there is a spreadsheet of VIN numbers and the associated non negotiable price. After confirming the number once again I scheduled an appointment. I arrived to my appointment and found that Chris was nowhere to be found and that he abandoned our appointment. Instead, I found that Gardena Honda was in fact not a Costco affiliated dealership and the vehicle I was interested in was marked up about 5000 more than the price given. Disgusting behavior. Christopher is dishonest and apparently does not value the commission or customer service aspect of the job. I would never buy a vehicle from Chris if I were to be a repeat customer. Emilio instead had no idea what he was walking into and the expectations previously set from my conversation with Chris. If I were to base my opinion of this dealership on Christopher alone, I honestly would hope the dealership fails and goes under but knowing that there are hard working, kind individuals like Emilio and Ali more than make up for the lack of professionalism from Chris.
