A rating of 1 star (Poor) is too high for this dealer in my opinion as there was no option to rate 0 star. This past week I came to the Nissan Gargen Grove and bought the advertised service package whi my opinion as there was no option to rate 0 star. This past week I came to the Nissan Gargen Grove and bought the advertised service package which includes 3 oil & filter changes plus tire rotations and inspections for $129.95. I made the appointment for 4:45 pm as it was available on the website. Out of caution, I called just to make sure and was told that they would need at least 2 hours to complete the oil change and tire rotation. Since they are closed at 6pm, I would need to make the appointment at 4pm. So I listened to the service advisor and changed my appointment to 4 pm. I showed up on time, got checked in around 4pm, no problem. I waited at the dealership. To my surprise, at 4:20 pm, the cashier called my name, I walked over and was told that my car was ready (20 minutes for doing an oil & filter change plus tire rotation??). But that was not all, the bill came to $178+. I looked at the bill and it listed PARTS (didn't specify which part) plus tax which added almost $49 to the bill. told her that I had bought the $129.95 package from the service advisor and there shouldn't be any additional charges. The cashier kept insisting that I need to pay the entire $178+ on the bill. We went back and forth a few times, I finally asked her to have me speak to the service advisor I wish I had asked for his name as his uniform didn't have a name on it. The cashier called the service advisor, they talked for a while, and finally the cashier told me that she would only charge me $129.95 for the 3 oil change package. At the end, I didn't have to pay extra, but I still feel strongly that they tried to rob me. If I didn't read the bill and just handed them my credit card, I would had paid $49 extra on top of $129.95 (an extra 38% of the original agreed price ). That was a scam!!! I don't know if I want to go back to the Nissan Garden Grove now for the remaining 2 oil changes and tire rotations that I had already purchased, we'll see. More
