Glad I checked their Yelp and dealerrater.com reviews, made me think twice and ask for hard numbers before going to the dealership. I pressed for hard numbers including all unmentioned fees they rolled over and said they could not honor the price they submitted on carwoo.com (a site where dealers bid for your business against other dealers). Nearly a decade ago I walked out of this dealership after they tried to required I buy their extended warranty to secure a better finance rate. I guess little has changed in the last 10 years, except now you can check dealer reputation online and go in pre-warned about questionable dealers. More
This dealership is a liar and scam! I bought new nissan altima at this dealer when I signed for the contract the saleman told me that my apr was 1.9% and free 3yrs of warramty and free oil change but ende altima at this dealer when I signed for the contract the saleman told me that my apr was 1.9% and free 3yrs of warramty and free oil change but ended up they have already added to the contract then I found out I came back to the dealer to cancel that warranty and they said they did. Today 3 years later I called the headquater to ask for the payoff amount and I have aldo asked them what was my original loan amount they told me the amount that was before I cancel the warranty which means they did not cancel and deduct that amount from my loan and also I asked about my interest they told me the interest is higher than 1.9% apr that I was agreed to. This place is totally a liar and scam. Buyer beware of this dealer make sure you ask for all document and break down pricing. Don't let them fol you like they did to me. Better off stay away from this dealer More
Sam Klein is one of the finest men I have ever done business with. He is a thorough-going professional who went out of his way to assure my experience at OC Nissan was pleasant and successful. Marie business with. He is a thorough-going professional who went out of his way to assure my experience at OC Nissan was pleasant and successful. Marie Goodrow was my sales contact. She was very well acquainted with the cars and trucks she sells and took a lot of time to explain all the various features of the truck I eventually purchased. I received cheerful, professional and knowledgable service and assistance at OCNissan and would gladly recommend this store to anyone who enjoys working with great people in a friendly, professional setting. PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO OC NISSAN of GARDEN GROVE, CA for anything (ie. buying a car, getting service maintenance for your car, etc.). I DO NOT RECOMMEND OC NISSAN OF GARDEN GROVE, CA TO ANYBODY - ESPECIALLY anything (ie. buying a car, getting service maintenance for your car, etc.). I DO NOT RECOMMEND OC NISSAN OF GARDEN GROVE, CA TO ANYBODY - ESPECIALLY MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY, SO THIS MEANS TO ALL OF YOU, TOO! I bought a car from them and I was treated badly, without Integrity and Ethics (they say they have high Integrity and Ethics - this is BULL CRAP!), and they damaged my car in so many ways (broke my front window, scratched my odometer's window and doors, dirtied my car with black stuff, dented my tire's metal thing - making my car lose tire pressure every month, dented the side-bottom of my car, and yelled and lectured me about Nissan of Garden Grove's Integrity and Ethics after losing my personal belongings). I told them about this - they didn't care and said that they do no such thing. They only fixed my front window because the damage was too big to be ignored. Also, before I bought the car - my mind was set on a different car with cash back on it - the sales person told me to buy another car because it has the same amount of cash back on it, so I did. THE CARTHAT I BOUGHT DID NOT HAVE ANY CASH BACK VALUE AT ALL! The sales person told me that the INVENTORY PRICE is the SAME as the MSRP (MANUFACTURE'S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE) - SO NOT TRUE! Also, I was denied a print-out copy of the INVENTORY PRICE - people, please know that if you ask for a print-out copy of the INVENTORY PRICE - you should get it (they shouldn't deny you). Also, I was promised a whole year's worth of free oil change (no matter how many times I brought my car in for the service) - THEY LIED! I ONLY GOT 4 FREE OIL CHANGES IN TOTAL. More
On May 16, 2011, I brought my parents to OC Nissan of Garden Grove to help them look for a used car. We test drove a 2009 red Nissan Altima with 50,150 miles on it and my Dad liked it. I negotiated wit Garden Grove to help them look for a used car. We test drove a 2009 red Nissan Altima with 50,150 miles on it and my Dad liked it. I negotiated with Kaylee Tran and Mark Kongchan on terms and pricing. We finally settled a price, Mark confirmed that for this price they would replace broken hub caps, detail, provide a free 1 year oil change service, and make this car Certified Pre-Owned which will extend the warranty from the original manufacturer’s warranty of 60,000 miles to 100,000 miles. When the deal was settled, I went to sign paperwork and asked Andy (Finance) regarding my Certified Pre-Owned warranty and what was covered, he didn’t answer directly about it, instead he tried to up sell me extended warranty coverage. Amidst all the overwhelming paperwork and signing process, I left without noticing that they did not provide me a Certified Pre-Owned paperwork to sign. Thus, I returned on May 21, 2011 to request for a detailed list of covered items under the Certified Pre-Owned warranty and my proper documentation. Kaylee and Mark said Nissan does not have any of that type of documentation available to customers; they only go by VIN # when warranty service is needed. I firmly requested once more that I needed that type of documentation, because verbal warranty is unheard of. Mark and Kaylee then said they will call their Headquarter office to request Certified Pre-Owned brochures and will contact me for pick up or mail it to me by May 24 or 25. On May 25, 2011, my father took the car for alignment service at OC Nissan of Garden Grove and checked with the service department if the dealer’s system noted this car is Certified Pre-Owned. To our surprise, this car never was Certified Pre-Owned as Mark and Kaylee have agreed based upon our negotiated terms. I then emailed Kaylee on May 26 to notify her of such information that I’ve learned. When she was back in the office on May 27, 2011, I called her in the morning to notify her of the warranty issue and asked if she had mailed me the brochure. She quickly said she’ll check and will call me back and that the warranty brochure was mailed out to me on May 25-26. I waited until the end of the day, but there were neither emails nor phone calls. So on my way home from work on May 27 to speak with her directly about this issue and to raise my concern that this is unethical business practices. When I arrived the sales team said that Kaylee left early and Mark was suppose to meet me, but after waiting for 15-20 minutes, he was nowhere to be found. Finally, another sales rep said he’ll call Kaylee to find out what was going on so he could help me. After sometime, a Finance person said to follow him to his office to sign the Certified Pre-Owned paper that Andy did not provide during the initial contract signing stage. Today is June 4, 2011, and I have not seen the promised warranty brochure as Kaylee and Mark had stated they had mailed me. I am very disappointed in poor customer service and extremely unethical business practices of this dealer. This not only made me lose faith in OC Nissan of Garden Grove, but it also made me doubt the practices of the Nissan brand and if I would ever refer friends and family to purchase from Nissan again. I was so impressed the the salesman "Omar" and his low pressure attitude, I began asking about a new truck for myself. I ended up leaving there with a brand new Titan! The staff was so professional and friendly, I went back two days later and bought my wife a new Cube. I regularly get my vehicles serviced there and every time I show my face, someone recognizes me and takes the time to actually treat me like a human being and not a dollar bill. Thanks guys! More
