I drove nearly 50 miles to Garden Grove Nissan after confirming an appointment for a car listed at $8,999. Before going, I even called the dealer and asked about the out-the-door price. The salesperson refused to give an exact number but said it’s “usually 10% more than the listed price.” Based on that, I expected something around $9,800–$10,000, which was within my budget. After wasting hours driving there and bringing my friends (who even took half-day leave to help me), we test-drove the car — everything seemed fine until we saw the bill. The “final” out-the-door price was $13,700. That’s over 51% higher than the advertised price. They piled on fake, mandatory “packages” like paint protection, interior insurance, and other nonsense, and claimed that’s just “how it is.” When we questioned them, they said we cannot take the car without those packages. Totally unprofessional, unethical, and deceptive. I’ve never experienced a more fraudulent dealership in my life. Absolute scam! More
