My car had a factory recall. When I showed up for my appointment, I was told to wait outside, in my car. Twenty minutes later someone came to record my mileage and asked me to leave my keys in the car and go inside. Once I was inside, the CSR called another team member to check if they had the recall part in stock. I heard him say they had to order it while he was on the phone talking to his team members. I was then asked to sign papers and by this time I was expressing my frustration. I explained I didn't like the fact an appointment was set and they didn't have the part. Furthermore I explained I had took the day off and asked a family member to come pick me up and drive me home since I wouldn't have my car for a few hours and I am outside their drop off/shuttle service. The person said he apologized and it wasn't his fault and he has no control over the appointment setters and what is in stock. The dealership is set up so no one takes accountability. Apparently, at the time I set my appointment they had the part, but when I showed up it was unfortunate that they didn't. They don't have control over this. I took a day off and wasted gas, time and other peoples time getting a ride. The service department was probably not at fault. This is managements fault. They should be on top of this! Horrible management and service structure of this dealership. More
