Dave Sewell worked with me to give me the deal I told him I could afford and throughout the process he was professional and courteous. There were a couple of items that had to be ironed out in the service department where I met Tom, the Service Manager. At one point I had a time constraint and both Tom and Dave kept me up-dated on the progress of my car and were again, courteous and knowledgeable answering my questions and getting me out on time. More

Aaron in finance twists the truth and misrepresents the interest rate and the "extras " he is trying to sell you. He tells you the cost is much less than you actually are charged. Be very careful and do not fall for the lies. Ask to see everything and the cost of it all before you sign. I would never trust or visit this dealer again. More

I wish I could give 0 stars. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not go here! My bf is a student who goes to school full time and works 30 hours a week at night. He saved money in hopes of buying a new car and got a Lemon instead. We find this Sonata at the Garden Grove Hyundai that was in farely good condition aesthetically and they told us it was in great condition mechanically because all their cars get inspected before being placed on the lot to sell. The car had a shaking issue so we bought pretense that they were going to fix the shaking issue the car had. They wrote IN WRITING on the DUE BILL that they would fix this, then months of taking the car in and out, in and out, of the service department they told us they weren't going to fix it. (Just like that) We took it in 4 times. We probably drove the car for a total of a week and we bought it in January..... The first time we took it in to fix the shaking, which was the initial problem the procedures they took to fix the car were incorrect and the shaking did not cease. (Either these guys are horrible mechanics or they knowingly disregarded the issue probably thinking we would not be persistent, because once you turn the car on the shaking starts, which means they did not even check to see if they fixed the problem.) The second time we took it they told us the car needs a new transmission (thankfully this was coverend on an added warranty they strategically gave to us when we bought the car), which means they had a car sitting on the lot that needed a NEW TRANSMISSION. They took over 3 weeks on their first attempt of fixing the transmission. They didn't even offer us a rental car until the THIRD time we took it back because after the second time (when they put the new transmission in), we drove it off the lot and the CHECK ENGINE light came on, so we took it back right away and they said it was because of the weather....... we had to take the car back, in which they told us they needed to put ANOTHER different transmission inside (NO JOKE). Then we took in back for the FOURTH time because the second transmission they put in was leaking oil. They fixed that, at least that's what they proclaim. Then Toni said that he got permission from his service manager and that he did not have to fix the shaking. Currently, the car is still shaking AND leaking oil. Thanks Hyundai. More

So, we buy our first car, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, and had no issue, traded our Jaguar in, no issue. A week later we go back and we were told by our salesmen, Moe, if we still wanted a second car, to come back before the first car showed on our credit. So, we go back, and he drives us off the lot with the second car. Yesterday gets here, 2/26/2014, and he starts texting me like crazy telling me to call him, (mind you he has my number....he is TEXTING ME, however he text me to tell me to call HIM) I tell him I'm at work and very busy, and he starts getting nasty telling me I better call him RIGHT NOW. I finally step away and call him, and he tells me the check I wrote him came back.... I ask him what he means, as they were to hold the check until 3/2/2014. They cashed it early and funds we not there... well DUH!!! He was the one that told me to write him a check, and told me once I got the car off the lot, it was mine. We, he is now telling us be BETTER BRING THE SECOND CAR BACK OR WE ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE..... I saved the text. Come to find out, the second car they are unable to get financed. The are trying to claim the check that was wrote to them was fraud, then they said it was NSF, they can't stick to one story. At this point I'm taking the car and dropping it off, and going to the DMV and reporting them to the inspector there. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LYING xxxx!!!! They say and do anything they can to sell you a car, once they do... your SCREWED, as they have you by the xxxxx at that point. You have been warned. More
"Handsome" Dave Sewell was an immense pleasure to have serving us for that day! This is only the second time I have had to purchase a car, and the first time I needed a lot of help from my parents. That said, going into this was a bit scary, knowing I was going to have to spend a lot more money than I am use to all in one place, and at the same unsure if the decision I was making was the right one. The moment I sat down in the car it knew I wanted to drive it off the lot. It was 10 times nicer than the other cars I had see at other dealers, even though they were the same model. When they said "new" they really meant it. The plastic was still on parts of the car, the floor mats were still wrapped in plastic - which were not even included in some of the other deals I was getting - and it just felt better. On top of all that, Dave was spectacular to work with, and made everything he could as painless as possible, all while be a genuinely great human being. I had told my mom while we were enjoying lunch afterwards that I wanted to keep him as my grandpa. Thanks Dave! More

I tried several other dealers in my search but settled on Dave because of his interaction was smooth, not pushy, and very easy to do business with as a professional sales person. He didn't have the base model of the car we were looking for but that didn't stop him from finding it. He was like a bull dog trying to pull out all the stops to get us the car we wanted at the price and finance we expected. He was very thorough with all the details of the sale and held our hands when it came to going over the car's features as well. Highly recommend Dave and Garden Grove Hyundai for their professional approach to buying a car. More
Fact: Dave Sewell is THE best car dealer ever. Because the dealership did not have a specific color I was looking for in stock, he let me choose from a list of alternative color option and gave me an EVEN the dealership did not have a specific color I was looking for in stock, he let me choose from a list of alternative color option and gave me an EVEN MORE discounted savings price. (The color that I ended up going with is actually a better option...very pleasing to the eye.) All the other dealerships just want the money, not the business. But Dave, on the other hand, actually cares about his customers. When I tell you he takes care of you, I mean EVERY word in that phrase. He will, in his best efforts, get you the car that you are looking for at the fair price you will be happy with at the end of the day. I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata this afternoon...and when I drove out the dealership, I was extremely satisfied. For the car that I am getting, the price that I am paying is definitely worth it. Now, after the deal is settled...Dave does not just leave you in the dark not knowing a thing about your new car, he will literally go out of his way and tell you everything you need/want to know about the car. He is extremely friendly too. The downside is he smokes :/ He seems like such a great guy, I would love (and hope) to still see him alive and well in the future, when I come back for a second car or whatever. Overall, I have went to a ton of car dealerships. This one is, by far, the best dealerships that I have gone to (mostly because of the presence of Handsome Dave). More
