Please read carefully word to word when you sign the contract with them. They add on many optional services which they will tell you that already installed to the car and required. The finance guy never contract with them. They add on many optional services which they will tell you that already installed to the car and required. The finance guy never made it sound like it was optional and word danced around the signing parts so we wouldn’t pay attention. My sister was looking for the car and came there when she saw the ad that car was 26k after dealer discount 7k. The sale man showed us the market price was just 26k and optional installments were 4k1. When I asked him to list all the installments , he didn’t want to list them. Then we keep say no that we don't want any options, just want the market price + tax. Two or three hours later, when she signed the contract, I was so busy with my newborn girl and they added up 6k1 for optional services. She didn’t notice these options because they just show her the bottom of page which doesn’t show the price of each service . The next day she came to my house and gave me the usb. I read over the contract and found out that she signed those options by mistake. Some of these options NON-Cancelable and some are cancelable. I told her come to the dealer and talk with them. Omg, The customer service was so terrible, the manager who named Ahed Karmach yelled at her that “we can’t cancel those optional service here” and walked away. But, I already read the policy of cancellation and I know that the dealer can help her to cancel those options. The finance guy keep telling a lie. No one at the dealer want to help her. He told her to wait until the first payment(45 days) if she wants to cancel it. But one of the policy said we will get the full refund if we cancel it within 30 days, two others are 60 days, and the process time usually take up to 2-3 weeks. So it is too lake if we wait until the first payment. After haft an hour fighting , the finance guy finally gave her the cancellation form for her to sign. She took the picture of it and sent it to me. Omg, he still doesn’t want to help her, because as the instructors, we need to send that form to the administration and I know he won’t do it. We are so tired and I told her to step out, we decided to cancel it by ourselves. We called the customer service of each service and ask to help us. The administration told us that they don't understand why the dealer keep saying to customer that they can’t canceled these optional services there. The administration sent us all of forms and tell us step by step how we can get the full refund. We learned the lesson now. So, please have to look at everything you sign they will put extras in the paperwork without you being aware of it. The most important page is the very last page after you have signed 15-20 other pages, this is the page that spells out exactly what you are being charged for and financing, every extra as well as the price of the car is on that last page..read it carefully. This was the worst experience I have ever had buying a car as an adult. I went to this dealership already prequalified and with the amount I was going to have as a monthly payment. The whole time I was car as an adult. I went to this dealership already prequalified and with the amount I was going to have as a monthly payment. The whole time I was there the sales person Jeff was trying to add on things that I did not want, I said no to the package because it’s just me driving the car and no one else goes in it. I also refuse the low Jack system because I have no interest in that where I live and I refused the extra package because it comes with the car and I also have it through my insurance After I negotiated all of this and felt that everything was settled. All of these things were refused. They made us wait over three hours. We were very impatient by the time it came around to signing the paperwork. I had made the deal with everyone and my husband was just there to sign the paperwork. We finally negotiated on a price and I kept asking why it was so different and they kept saying it was because of the interest rate . The interest rate wasn’t that far off so they could explain to me why when my husband was signing the paperwork they didn’t explain anything to him. They talked about the weather they stalled, but they did not explain anything. We thought everything was included in the price of the car. We found out that we had $2495 of add-ons that I am trying to cancel now because these are fraudulent charges and we’re definitely not approved. After contacting the general manager by an email he said that we signed the paperwork and it was too bad. Customer service absolutely sucks. I went there with a price and pre approved letter and they still manage to be extremely sneaky and sneak in charges. Nothing was explained to us. I had no idea. I had four years of Lujack. I had no idea. I had the appearance on there all things that I strictly refused. I have never had a dealership be so dishonest as this one so buyer beware read your reviews. I also talk to another person that recently had the same exact experience, but for way more money I’m currently going through the contracts and trying to find out how to cancel them under fraudulent Reasons and I still have no idea how any of this works because nobody explained anything to me. I’m going to contact Hyundai corporate and make sure consumer affairs knows about the shady practices of Garden Grove Hyundai. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for how they treat their customers and how they respond to them afterwards . More
Wish I had read the reviews before buying a car there. The listed price plus add on is a scam. We finally got rid of most of them before we agreed to buy the car. The other problem is there is no after-sale support. The proper manual for the car’s trim level was not supplied and finance department has yet to give me their bank information so I can wire the money. Have a 5 day temporary finance agreement to allow car to leave the lot and it feels like they are stalling me to get the finance charges started. Never again! More

Avoid Garden Grove Hyundai: My Car Was Stolen During Servicing Due to Their Negligence I recently went through a terrible experience with Hyundai and Garden Grove Hyundai that has left me frustrated Servicing Due to Their Negligence I recently went through a terrible experience with Hyundai and Garden Grove Hyundai that has left me frustrated and disappointed. I've been a loyal Hyundai customer since day one and even owned two previous Hyundai cars. However, my trust in the brand was shattered after my third Hyundai became a nightmare. I left my one-year-old car for servicing at Garden Grove Hyundai, and to my shock, it was stolen right from their service area due to their poor security measures. The entire situation was a mess, and it's hard to believe that something like this could happen. To make matters worse, when I initially purchased the car, Garden Grove Hyundai charged me over $2000 more than the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) under the pretext of a "market adjustment." They also included a Luna GPS application, which I later discovered was redundant since Hyundai already offers the BlueLink service for the same purpose. Following the theft, both Hyundai and the dealer washed their hands of the matter, directing me to their insurance. The insurance offered only the market value of the vehicle, which was 25% less than what I had paid for it. Seeking fair compensation, my emails were met with silence, and both Hyundai and Garden Grove Hyundai suggested I take them to court – something I never imagined having to do as a loyal Hyundai customer. This experience has left me deeply disheartened. As someone who has been loyal to Hyundai, having owned three of their cars, it's painful to write this review. The lack of empathy, responsibility, and care demonstrated by Hyundai and its dealer has led me to make a drastic decision – I'm switching to Tesla. In conclusion, if you're considering Garden Grove Hyundai, especially if you've been a loyal customer like me, be wary. My terrible experience with their poor security measures, questionable pricing tactics, and lack of customer support should serve as a cautionary tale. Save yourself the trouble and look for a brand that genuinely cares about its customers. More
They advertise the car at one price, and then they wouldn’t remove the add-ons that I didn’t want. The car was advertised for 21,000 and they had $9000 of add-ons including maintenance warranty and ot wouldn’t remove the add-ons that I didn’t want. The car was advertised for 21,000 and they had $9000 of add-ons including maintenance warranty and other things that they had done with the car. The worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I am 60 years old and I have purchased many cars. I left the dealership and went to Carmax and purchased a car in an hour and a half with no problem. This is a shady dealership, and I would not recommend it to anyone. More

Called ahead and asked if they will be adding some dealer installed stuff that I don't need (ie door handle protection etc.) For a Hyundai venue .Was told it will be offered but it's optional. I asked multip installed stuff that I don't need (ie door handle protection etc.) For a Hyundai venue .Was told it will be offered but it's optional. I asked multiple times to make it clear. They said it's optional. Drove 2 hours with my wife and toddler. Test drove and while test driving I asked again and was told it's optional and I don't have to take it if I don't want to. So I agreed with the price and everything went smooth until I got to the finance manager who tried to intimidate me and insisted that the add ons are required. I explained to him that I was told it's optional. He said there must've been a misunderstanding and that there a long list of people interested in that car and he can't give it to me if I don't pay an extra $3900 for the add ons. I walk out. Fortunately found a better Hyundai dealer (premiere Hyundai in moreno valley)with no add ons and for a better car (Kona) for less price than what they were asking for the venue after the "add ons" They were so upfront and easy to deal with I bought another one the following week. Bait and Switch. If I could rate this with zero or negative stars I would. I contacted the dealership initially explaining that I was representing a non-profit tha If I could rate this with zero or negative stars I would. I contacted the dealership initially explaining that I was representing a non-profit that supports kids and set up a time to go view the van. We drove the van down the street a bit and the salesman told me about the benefits and features, etc. When we got back to the dealership, he went in the back and came out with a price that was $10K more than what was advertised. He tried to fast talk us with the $1800 title/tax/license (which I understand and accept) and through the add-ons, like GPS tracking and all that. I asked him what the additional $7945 was and he tried to explain it off by saying that they "mark the cars at below Kelly Blue Book value, so the advertised price plus the extra $8K is what the van is really worth". Not surprisingly, we were flabbergasted. This is blatant bait and switch. We asked for him to take it off and he said he couldn't, so we left. I let him know that we would not have bothered coming down if it was the higher price (which is probably why they do that). On our way out, another person said "I hope everything went well for you" and I turned to explain the issue and he basically shrugged it off. I got an email from the salesman later that day that said "If anything changes, let me know". A few days later, I received an email from the manager asking if there was anything he could do to win my business so I responded to him and asked for his office hours so we could have a conversation about what transpired. I waited a few days for his response and after 5 days, sent another email basically letting him know that I was holding off on this review until he and I spoke so that he would have a chance to do what was right, but he never returned either of my emails. Looking at the comments and experiences with others on this site really drives home that it isn't a one-off for us, this is a method of business, and something that should be investigated by authorities, because their business practices are illegal.
