So my wife has her heart set on a new Mazda3 5 door hatch. After a few phone calls back and forth, we head to the dealer to see what they can do for us. They happen to have the car she wants with the options. We are going back and forth with the salesman , which by the way is a great guy. Very polite and straight forward. But of course he has to get the manager's approval, whom by the way was being disrespectful to the salesman the whole time. He actually asked the salesman to show him where he made calls to us. I told the manager that he called us twice and this is why we are here. He insisted on seeing the guy's notes. My wife and I just looked at each other like "what the freak is wrong with this guy'? " I asked the salesman to show me the car as it just arrived on the lot today. he gets the keys and asked how serious are we on purchasing. I told him if you guys give me a good price, I'll sign a retainer today. Here is where the fun begins. His boss had offered $250 under invoice. I see another price that is $970 under invoice. The salesman says " that is employee pricing." So i think to myself, we'll start with that number and meet in the middle. I then tell him go into your boss and tell him if he gives me that price, we'll buy the car today. We go back in the dealership and my wife is still a little uneasy. (We were both getting bad vibes from the manager)The salesman says, " why don't you guys think about it over the weekend and get back to me. I don't want you to feel pressured". I tell the guy "look I'm not going to run back and forth, ask your boss to come out now and we'll make a deal". His boss comes out and asks if we are ready to buy. I said yes. He asks what do you think is a fair price. My wife then gives him the employee cost. He looks at my wife and says to her "lady you want a job here?. just tell me and I'll give you a job here and that price". I took offense to his arrogant attitude and you're not going to talk to my wife like that. So I told him " look you asked what we were thinking, that's what I'm thinking". He says to me' " don't come in here and insult me". My pressure went up. I looked him straight in the eye and told him " I guess I'll just go somewhere else". The guy gets up walks away and tells me to just leave his store. basically just threw us out. I will be contacting the district manager for MAZDA. This is not how you get a first time MAZDA buyer. This would have been our first MAZDA purchase. Not gonna happen. More

This is my third Mazda, and I would not think of buying anyehere else. At Garden City Mazda, I feel welcomed like part of a family. There was never the "hard sell". My salesman, Irv Trubitsky always gave me all the time I needed, and everything was explained to me in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident. Every part of the sale was handled professionaly and efficiently. All my paperwork was accurate and complete, with not a single error or issue. It is obvious that everyone at Garden City Mazda puts customer satisfaction at the top of their list, and I must say that they are very successful at it. I highly recommend Garden City Mazda to anyone that would like a positive experience at a car dealer. (I took delivery of my 2013 Mazda CX-5 yesterday.) More
I went to Garden City Mazda last week to look into a new lease as my current lease was almost up. Irv suggested the Mazda 3 based on what I was looking for and I loved the car. Everything was explained in lease as my current lease was almost up. Irv suggested the Mazda 3 based on what I was looking for and I loved the car. Everything was explained in full detail and the process ran very smoothly. I put down my deposit and signed the lease that day then went to pick up the car the following week. Irv went over all the paperwork in detail with me and showed me all the features of the car and how to operate everything, including the blue tooth and streaming radio which I had never used before. Throughout the whole process Irv answered all of my questions and was willing to work with me. Considering this was the first car I have leased on my own he was very clear and patiently answered any questions I had (and there were many!)Overall I had a very pleasant first experience with leasing a car and would definitely recommend this dealership, and Mazda, to anyone. The last time I brought my Mazda in for service, they scratched my car and replaced my personalized license plate frames with thiers. Furthermore, the car was in for an expensive service, which included scratched my car and replaced my personalized license plate frames with thiers. Furthermore, the car was in for an expensive service, which included some new parts. My car felt worse coming out of the service than it did going in. Needless to say, I have had to bring my car to another dealer to replace the parts that thye installed. I Love Mazdas and would encourage anyone to own one. Just find another dealership to deal with. My boyfriend and I had a WONDERFUL experience at this dealership. We got to the dealership 10 minutes before they closed not expecting to receive much service because they were closing. We at best were h dealership. We got to the dealership 10 minutes before they closed not expecting to receive much service because they were closing. We at best were hoping to get to look at the car we were interested in. Sincere took us out to the car, let us sit in it, arranged for a test drive, and let us continue the look at the car when we got back. By the time we got back inside it was a half hour after closing and we were expecting to be shuffled out the door with an appointment to come back the next day. Not even close. Sincere sat us down and ran through all our financing options. He was patient and pleasant and worked with us until he came up with something we could all agree on. At this point it was 9:30pm (hour and a half after close time) and we were waking out with a down payment on a car. Came back the next day and drove the car off the lot. I never knew buying a car could be such a pleasant experience. I look forward to going back to that dealership for my free oil changes for 5 years! :-) More
I was interested in a pre owned car at GC Mazda and after much time we made a deal and walked out the door leaving a deposit, signed agreement and a plan to pick up the car two days later. The following even much time we made a deal and walked out the door leaving a deposit, signed agreement and a plan to pick up the car two days later. The following evening we received a call from Frank, the General Manager, saying they will not sell us the car because of an error on their part and basically we were getting the car at too good of a price. I am not even sure if that is legal but would never want a car from them after this experience anyway. We were disappointed and received liitle care from the dealership and no offer to correct their mistake. The salesmen were nice and easy to work with. Seems the general manager is not one to stick with his business deals and offers little care for the customer. I would NEVER refer to Garden City Mazda!!! More
