My wife and I had a fantastic time buying my 2013 Mazda3 car at Garden City(GC) Mazda. We started searching on internet and found good reviews on internet. Right from the first phone call till we purchased car at Garden City(GC) Mazda. We started searching on internet and found good reviews on internet. Right from the first phone call till we purchased the vehicle, we were never misguided. I have to say this because, we initially fell for the dirty marketing gimmicks from few other dealerships. The trick is to put in all possible discounts and make the customer come to the showroom and then later remove most of the discounts. Most often, these dealerships wouldn't even have the vehicle in their stock. We talked to 3 sales people at GC Mazda and all of them were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Mr. James was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and answered to all our questions over multiple phone calls, until we decided to visit their shop. Once we visited the shop, Miss Raydenisse did a great job in showing different car models. She never pushed us to buy, but did all the talking to showcase the rich set of features in Mazda3. When it was time to settle the deal, the manager, Mr. Francisco stepped in to make the entire transaction as smooth as possible. He worked for our plans. He literally sat with us for an hour to explain multiple options and I can just say that his technically sound and charismatic presence makes him one of the best deal closers! After having experienced some really weird sales people at other dealerships, GC Mazda was refreshingly good and it was very pleasing to see honest people around! The only bitter experience was with the financing officer (Mr. Anthony Antonetti). After all the deal was done, the financing officer took us for one xxxx of a ride. He was so stubborn and pathetic that we almost felt like walking away from the deal until Francisco walked in to calm down the nerves! Firstly, the rude officer told us that he has 30 years experience and that we should blindly sign to whatever document he showed us, without understanding the calculations behind the numbers. He didn't even give us a minute to talk and told us that we cannot ask him any questions because he believed in his intelligence and his system more than anybody. Makes no sense, does it? He kept talking in high voice and even walked out of the room so rudely. I don't question his business intelligence, but his unwillingness to listen to a customer earns him a BIG 0 and a boo from us. Will highly recommend this place to other buyers but feel free to ask for a different financing officer, in case you come across the irritating officer that we came across. More

All three gentlemen were very courteous and professional. Although I believe the Mazda 6 sells itself these men did not take that for granted. The manager Mike D'Andrea followed up with a call to see if I had any concerns and to confirm my pick up date for the vehicle and when it arrived Ed Pinero when over all terms of the lease with me. The price quote was the price payed. I was a pleasant experience without high pressure sales and haggling about price. More
I test-drove the 2014 CX5, after testing a bunch of its competitors. My immediate conclusion: there's the Mazda CX5, and then there's everybody else. The salesman, Josh Niles, was friendly, accommodating and never pushed. He clearly knew a lot about the car and the Mazda brand, as he effortlessly and patiently answered all of my questions. I got the deal I came for and left with the car I most wanted. I got the touring version, which has a Bose sound system that will loosen your fillings. The engine has more giddyup than the Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape, or the Subaru Cross-trek, all of which I also test-drove. The nicely appointed dash is easy to navigate, while the leather seats are very comfortable and easy to adjust. The car handles beautifully on the open road and in poor weather. The 19" alloy wheels add extra curb-appeal to this funky and muscular looking car. The added value, is with all the interior room, the exterior size is just small enough to keep those guys at the carwash from charging the extra two or three bucks for having a truck. More

I had been shopping around to replace my current lease of a 2011 Nissan Rouge and my next and last stop was Garden City Mazda. When my boyfriend and I entered the shop, Henry was there to greet us and asked a 2011 Nissan Rouge and my next and last stop was Garden City Mazda. When my boyfriend and I entered the shop, Henry was there to greet us and asked if we needed any help. We said we were just going to be looking around but thank you. When I was sitting in the floor model of the CX-5 - Henry reappeared and said Let's go for a test drive. I was hesitant at first (afraid it would be too big - Henry said all the cars look bigger in the shop than on the road) however, wouldn't give up a chance to test drive a brand new car. I test drove the car and loved it! If it wasn't for Henry following us to the car, I probably would have left without test driving it, hesitant because of size. Henry stayed late that night to work out a great deal with me and offered to help get out of my lease early. (Being a business woman myself, I know he was on OT and not getting paid extra for being there.) He had a great personality. I came back the next day to pick up the car and I am so happy I found a great car! My mom will be shopping at Mazda and I recommended Henry!! (Also a side note- while waiting for the paperwork to go through, Henry received a phone call from another customer requesting more information on the car they had been looking at and wanted to come back the next day to look at again. Henry mentioned he wasn't working that day but if the customer would give him a time frame, he would be more than happy to come in just for them. My husband and I were looking to replace our 2011 CX-9 as the lease was ending. I had visited this dealer before getting the CX-9 but decided on another dealership since were not satisfied with the price or the lease was ending. My husband decided to give Garden City Mazda another shot. We were pleasantly surprised. Our Sales Associate Josh was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. He assisted us with finding the exact car we wanted right away. The dealership assisted us by taking back our leased vehicle and saving us both time and money. We were able to pick up our new car the very next day. Although we had already owned a Mazda and are very tech savvy, Josh took the time to time to go through all the features of the car and even programmed and synced my husband's phone's audio files, contacts etc using the car's Bluetooth system. He was also quite patient and outgoing with our 5 year old who tagged along for the pick up. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing. Even our experience with the sales manager in the "back office" where we signed our paperwork was pleasant. Normally car dealers are very pushy and insistent about getting extra coverage, warranty plans etc. The sales manager took the time to explain each one and let us decide for ourselves which we thought we could use with out resorting to high pressure tactics. I was pleasantly surprised to see the change in this dealership and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
Well, first off, I want to talk about Cesar. My wife did a review of him on line prior to visiting Garden City Mazda, and he received stellar reviews! So we wanted to see for ourselves "the works" of this great salesman...low and behold, He was an extraordinary car salesman! Cesar was not pushy or rude by any means...Rather, he humbly and patiently showed us the pros and the cons of either financing or leasing this new car we bought...we really appreciated that. He carefully and professionally guided us through all the steps of understanding the vehicle. He treated us with such respect and friendliness, and we could tell by his character that he was genuine, which meant a lot to my wife and I. He periodically updated us with a phone call on every development / status of the vehicle. We never felt as if he "forgot us". When we did finally purchased the vehicle, he showed us step by step its functionality and features, (not to mention, it was getting late, yet Cesar showed no irritation toward us). If I ever decide to purchase another vehicle from MAZDA, not only am I going to that with dealership, but we are requesting Cesar. He's the only one we want to do business with in the future. PERIOD! Now for Anthony (FINANCING)....he was also professional. He definitely knows his stuff for sure....But he had more of a "straight shooter persona". In most cases, I really appreciate that in a person, but we just really didn't expect that after dealing with Cesar. Also, my wife and I took note, that Anthony walked way ahead of us when going to his office. He didn't take the time to engage in too much banter with us, to relax us. He just went in for the kill, as it were. Buying a new car was a big thing for my wife and I; we never did this before,so, we just wish he would have been a little for friendly and humble toward us, that would have made our experience much more delightful. We didn't really like that situation too much. We also wish that Anthony could of (in detail), explain to us the payment plan and hidden charges. The more details the better, I always say...Big purchases should never feel rushed or hurried and we kind of felt that. Nonetheless, Anthony worked with us to get the best deal he could get within our circumstance. We dealt with it... Overall, Great place to buy a car..(big thanks to Cesar for that!) More
