I took the car in for an airbag recall. car ran perfect no issues. it’s a highly modified wrx and as soon as i pulled in all of the techs were staring at it. fast foward to the end of the d car ran perfect no issues. it’s a highly modified wrx and as soon as i pulled in all of the techs were staring at it. fast foward to the end of the day i pick it up and immediately i had a bad feeling because i was told the car wasn’t running right. when dropping the car off i told them NOT to take it for a test drive because it is just an airbag. the car is way too low and if not driven right especially on a freshly reflashed ecu due to unplugging my battery, something will break. and i guess you guys just had to ignore my request of saying don’t take it on a test drive. the tech decided to floor it not once, but twice. causing a misfire because the car is not warmed up nor is the tune fully reflashed. i bring this up and they completely blow off my question on why did you take the car out for a drive when i told you not to. and my air vents are not even put back in right. plus nobody is willing to do anything besides the higher ups at Subaru USA which is my next stop. because i am not paying for a motor because one of your “experienced” techs decided to completely destroy my car. The receptionist at the service center is incompetent! We are on a road trip when our transmission goes out on a Friday right in town. We call around and Garcia Subaru service gets us an appointment f We are on a road trip when our transmission goes out on a Friday right in town. We call around and Garcia Subaru service gets us an appointment for Monday at 10am. We rent a car and continue our trip because we will pass through again on the way back. We get back into town on Monday and wait for them to call us. At 2:30 anxious to get on the road we call for an update. No one is working at the service center on Monday!? And apparently the "team that works on transmissions only works on Saturdays. This xxxx delayed our trip by 3 days! When if they were competent it would have been no problem. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE INCOMPETENT CROOKS!!! More

Bought a used Outback from Garcia and it developed some issues, as might be expected from a used car with a fair amount of mileage on it. My service adviser, Brett Dylla, and the service manager, Billy Scr issues, as might be expected from a used car with a fair amount of mileage on it. My service adviser, Brett Dylla, and the service manager, Billy Scribner, were both great to work with. They were patient, understanding, detail-oriented and efficient. It's easy to be happy with a new car that is still under warranty, but the mark of a great dealership is how they treat somebody who has issues with a used vehicle. For years I was a loyal Honda guy and owned a number of new and used Hondas, but the service became problematic and the folks in their service department became complacent and acted like they couldn't be bothered with my trivail concerns. I decided to try a Subaru and am very happy with that choice. Thanks to Brett and Billy, I'm now a convert to Subaru and expect to be a loyal Garcia Subaru customer for many years to come. Thanks guys. More
The service department thinks they are doing us a favor to do the maintenance to our cars. I have to go 3 times to get my car serviced and NO, every single time they said we are not able to take your car. to do the maintenance to our cars. So I asked--out of curiosity--what the trade-in value would be. They said a sales rep would get right back to me. For the rest of Friday and Saturday I waited to hear from them. Nothing. I called them but no one was available to talk, so I left a message asking them to please start work on two items and I'd take care of the rest another time. On Monday morning I called back to confirm they'd gotten my message and were starting work, and when they expected to be finished. No one could speak to me then either, so I left another message asking to be called back. During the day Monday I did this six times. No one ever returned my call. Instead, I got plenty of excuses about how overwhelmed and understaffed they were. I tried one more time on Tuesday and the same thing happened. No one was interested in helping me find out what was going on. At that point I gave up and today, Wednesday, got a ride into town to find out what was going on with my car. It took them a while to track it down. Turns out it had been just sitting there, without anything being done, for FIVE DAYS. Their excuse was that they were waiting to hear back from the sales department. I asked for my keys and left. I won't be going back. I bought my car new from this dealer when they were down on Lomas back in 2014. Up until recently they have been just great and I was very happy with their service. But this is not the same place that it was. If you own a Subaru, I would strongly recommend that you avoid this dealership. Sorry to say, but this is one of the most unprofessionally-run businesses I've ever encountered. More
This review is about phone contact with Garcia. You have to be extremely lucky to get through to someone when calling the dealership. Most of the time of the time what you hear is "All circuits are busy. Pl to be extremely lucky to get through to someone when calling the dealership. Most of the time of the time what you hear is "All circuits are busy. Please try your call again later". This happened 26 times in a row last week, then again 2 times today. (The service that I've gotten at Garcia over the past year has been good) More

Then I learn he has left I purchased my top of the line Outback in May - and the sales man was fantastic! In fact, HE was the reason I made the deal. Then I learn he has left the dealership - and the few times I've been there, the attitude of the other people are not nearly as gracious and respectful. My first service was scheduled for this coming Friday - but I need to reschedule. I could not accomplish that via the phone app NOR did the software work online from my mac. It gets to the point of selecting the time and simply will not go to the screen to do that. So what SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 5 minutes to do has now wasted more than 30 minutes! I tried calling service several times - and they want to return my call. THAT IS NOT SERVICE! I ended up on CHAT which also took some time to complete the rescheduling. SERVICE is answering the phone. AND this is not the first time I have tried reaching service - to no avail. It clearly is not important to this dealership. I had been warned by other Subaru owners... but due to the wonderful sales man, I figured that was just another person's opinion. there are several other small things I could recount. Now I'm doubting my decision. I was with Larry Miller Toyota before this - and they knew the meaning of service, and knew how to make customers feel appreciated. Any issues were handled professionally and with care and I knew my business was valued there. I am clearly concerned about the ongoing relationship with this dealer and fear any possible issues will be difficult. More
