I was very impressed with the dealership. The staff were all welcoming from the moment I walked in to the time that I left. I was impressed with Rick as a sales manager, he went above and beyond. What can I say.... Garber made my choice easy.... I quickly learned why NOT to buy from them. I had just come right from another local dealer, and just thought I would do myself some good and at least quickly learned why NOT to buy from them. I had just come right from another local dealer, and just thought I would do myself some good and at least "shop" around. I was spoken down to, and then after my dissatisfaction with my experience, when I tried to leave, the "sales manager" kept trying to pressure me and wouldn't let me leave, even held onto my keys so I couldn't! Finally I was able to leave, and the manager gives me his card and says "any other price you get, see me and I'll do $300 better". No thanks. I immediately went right back to the dealer in Penfield I was at earlier, and purchased my new Pilot, which I love. More

My wife Barbara and I stopped by Garber Honda (Rochester) yesterday to see what changes had been made in the Honda CRV's since our last purchase of same in 2010. We were introduced to Elizabeth Bochno who yesterday to see what changes had been made in the Honda CRV's since our last purchase of same in 2010. We were introduced to Elizabeth Bochno who enthusiasium, friendliness and positive attitude made us right at home. As we were "checking out" a new CRV for my wife that had to have leather and heated seats Elizabeth showed us a 2013 CRV that was equipped with them in the show room. Again, her cheerfulness, good nature and knowledge of the vehicle was outstanding. After she and my wife went for a test drive I asked Barb what she thought and she told me that she would like to buy if they had the correct color which they did. Elizabeth escorted us through the buying experience professionally and had answers for my questions and suggestions throughout the process. We had to work a little on the trade but with Elizabeths and Andy's help negotiated an amount for our trade that I was and am very happy with. We then went through the formal process of purchase with ease. Actually, my wife and I were enjoying the process as it was friendly and very professional. Elizabeth next introduced us the Mike in finance and we discussed warranties, extra service contracts and additional accessories possible for the CVR. Mike was curtious and very professional during this segment of the process. When we picked up the vehicle Elizabeth spent time showing us the many fundamentals of our new car and again kept the entire experience enjoyable. I know that we consider her a friend at this time and hope she feels the same about us. She also introduced us to Eric and again I immediately felt at ease in our dealing with him. He has a lot of wit and made what can be a stressful time not at all the case. Further, his enjoyment of his position with Garber was evident and refreshing. In closing, our overall experience with Elizabeth, Andy, Mike and Eric was refreshing and professional in the possible tough situation of buying a vehicle. I will definitely direct my friends to Garber and the above mentioned sales team for their auto needs. Further, I am looking forward to dealing with them for a vehicle for myself in a few months. What can I say about the Garber Buying Experience? My Sales Associate was Elizabeth Bochino. Elizabeth was on time for our appointment and and dressed appropriately. Elizabeth listened to my needs and told me of the different options for the Honda vehicles that fit my needs. After deciding that a Honda Civic made the most sense for me...she did a hands on demonstration of the car's new upgrades and changes Honda recently made to the 2013 Civic. Her attention to detail and her vast knowledge of the vehicle demonstrated to me she knew her business. I was very impressed. Elizabeth then guided me through another hands on look of the car's internal upgrades, this time allowing me to actually activate/deactivate and adjust a lot of the upgrades she just went through. That was the deciding factor. My choice... lease a Honda Civic. Elizabeth made the buying experience very enjoyable and from now on I won't make a move to buy another Civic until talking with her. She's the best. On my say so... Buy or lease a Garber vehicle and have Elizabeth as your guide to getting the proper Honda vehicle for your needs. You'll thank me later. ps. The financial experience was an equally pleasant experience. Not a lot of going back and forth to the "Manager" for the OK to get a deal done negotiating. Elizabeth took her time, gathered the necessary information she needed and after two trips to the office... it was a done deal. I pick the car up today at 1 PM. A one day turn around. It doesn't get any better than that. Once again... I truly enjoyed my buying experience at Garber. My wife will be making a similar purchase in less than 6 months. I'll look forward to sending her to Elizabeth for her new 2013 Honda Civic as well. More
Geoff was our salesperson for our first Honda Pilot back in 2006. We returned to see him again this month simply because of the excellent customer service and excellent product. Geoff and Eric are both very knowledgeable, friendly, and they wanted to make our experience pleasing and stress-free. It was a smooth process--from the time we walked onto the lot and were greeted by Geoff, to the time he helped us set up all our features on the vehicle before we drove our new Pilot off the lot. I would highly recommend this dealership and would definitely return again in the future. More
