The worst service ever. Waited for someone to come, had to go find somebody. Waited 2 and a half hours for oil change and tire rotation. After 2 hours my car was still up on the rack tried to find Ric to to go find somebody. Waited 2 and a half hours for oil change and tire rotation. After 2 hours my car was still up on the rack tried to find Ric to no avail. Asked first person to find out what was going on a woman told me my tire lock was stripped. Past 4 years the only people using the tire lock were their service department. Another man went back and said it wasn’t stripped the kid didn’t know how to use it. Almost 3 hours of my life I can’t get back. Never saw Ric after the initial write. Either a long lunch or hiding in the bathroom. Will never purchase another vehicle there or use service department. If I could give minus stars I would More

Long rant ahead. I've been going to Christensen for over 5 years, before they became Garber. Since the change the service department has fallen, tremendously. Had I recieved the service I did today on last week my wife and I wouldn't have purchased our daughters car from here. I'm a third shift nurse, so my time is choppy and precious to me. I scheduled an oil change for 4/7 @ 330pm. I work downtown Chicago and have to be at work no later than 645pm. I know it normally takes 1-1 1/2 hrs for an oil change so I scheduled with time to spare. I arrived at 310pm for a 330pm appt. The service advisor told me they were behind and it would be "about" 2hrs to get me out the door. Since I added some buffer time I figured it would be okay and I'd be out the door by 530pm. Oh was I wrong. By 530pm still no call to the desk. I gave it an extra 10 mins and still nothing. I then asked the status because I had to leave. They said they would check for me. The advisor goes to check, comes back and says they are pulling your car now, it'll be ready in 20 mins.... Im beyond pissed at this point. I've sat for over 2 hrs and still no service. I requested my vehicle and I'll go elsewhere another day. Luckily I made it to work in time. This type of service for an oil change is simply ridiculous. Mind you there was a lady there before me still waiting on her car also... If I could return the car we just purchased I would. They have lost a loyal customer today. If i could give 0 stars i would... I purchased a 2014 gmc sierra with about 90k miles on it about 6 months ago from this dealership. Not even 30 days later i notice a heater core issue ( due to the coolant b sierra with about 90k miles on it about 6 months ago from this dealership. Not even 30 days later i notice a heater core issue ( due to the coolant build up on my windshield, that I have to wipe off every 2 days to see) and the trans is slipping at slow speeds. I bring it in to be serviced because I pay for the 3 year warranty. They tell me there is no issue with either.... I took it to an asu certified mechanic to verify the two issues, which he did.... I ended up having to replace the heater core on my own and deal with the trans. Garber also charged me $100 to tell me there were no issues, and they were very rude about it. After I replaced the heater core I noticed there was a water build up on the windshield still and water filling in my floor board. Found out the ac drain was pinched back into the firewall and draining all the water into my floor board. Of course garber didn't pay attention to this when they sold me the truck and I had to literally take everything out in order to dry the floor after I fixed the issue. I'm typically not a complainer but there's no way I should have to spend this much of my time and money on a $32k vehicle that I bought a couple months prior with a warrany.... this dealership will deny every issue with a vehicle and try to charge you through the roof whether they fix it or not. On a side note, I had an alignment scheduled last night for my truck at 4:30pm, they didn't finish it until after 7pm... I will never give this joke of a dealership a penny of my hard earned money and or time ever again. More
Last year I took my car because there was a recall on shift gear. I have a 2007 Malibu. The service and people were so extremely friendly and I do appreciate that. Though I was told that my car should not have rusted the way it did. But I loved my Malibu no matter what. Rust or no rust I loved my car. Well now my poor Malibu is no longer running and am very sad. So I will be looking for a new Chevrolet. I like Chevrolet because I had such a good Malibu. I have never had to communicate with a service department Repeatedly and still not have the problem solved. mgr was more concerned about defending the service employee than listening to my complaint. I called The dealership and informed them that my windshield wiper fluid sensor light was on even though I had plenty of fluid in the tank. I asked what it would cost. They said that I had to bring i windshield wiper fluid sensor light was on even though I had plenty of fluid in the tank. I asked what it would cost. They said that I had to bring it in and they had to look at look at it then they could tell me the cost. They called me back and told me that my windshield wiper sensor was not working broke. They replaced it. When I got there they told me that sensor light was still on and that I needed to pay an additional amount in order for them to determine what the real problem was. I paid around 130.0 for nothing More
