Hello Carrie, I’ve reviewed the account we have for your 2016 Acadia and find some discrepancies in your comments about our Service Department. Garber Buick GMC of Ft Pierce will never offer, recommend or sell anything to a customer which we know to be incorrect or false in anyway, nor do we lie to or deceive our guests - not only is that unprofessional, it’s simply not good for business. Unfortunately our industry is laden with businesses and individuals who do just that and it gives us all a bad name. The vehicle you purchased was never listed as a “Certified Pre-Owned” GM vehicle and was sold with all remaining Factory Warranties still active and in effect and did receive the extensive GM Pre-Owned Inspection to verify its worthiness to be placed on our lot. I do see that we performed a wheel alignment for the vehicle on August 18 to correct a pull/drift and the completed computer generated printout shows that the alignment was performed properly and was set to be within GM Factory Specifications. Had we the opportunity to review your issue, we would have continued to work with you, at no charge, to adjust the alignment more to your liking. The local shop you went to probably adjusted the alignment to compensate for the crowned roads we have here locally. While this will make the vehicle track straighter, it will also cause premature tire wear since the alignment is purposely set to be slightly off which is why we set the alignment per GM Specifications just as it was when it left the Factory. As for the missing equipment you are speaking of: Unfortunately the outside vendor that we use populated the equipment onto the sticker incorrectly. If we could add the equipment we would, but that is not an option as it must come from the factory. We went over that information with you and explained the mistake. It was not done deliberately or meant to be misleading. A mistake occurred that was beyond out control and we have apologized for that. You have also indicated that "GM didn't care..." If you are referring to General Motors, we never received a call from them indicating you were unhappy. If you are referring to the General Manager (that's me), I have never received a call from you. I am happy to discuss these issues with you, if you would like to meet with me in person.
