Jeremy Guller Accuses Me of Abusing My Car I must say, I'm really disappointed that I have to write this review. I will say that I gave Jeremy Guller, Galpin Lincoln's General Sales Manager eve I must say, I'm really disappointed that I have to write this review. I will say that I gave Jeremy Guller, Galpin Lincoln's General Sales Manager every chance to fix the issue before I was forced to start working on making sure others don't end up a victim to a similar experience. I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette for a total amount of $47,668.95. I put down $5,500 although my intentions were to only put down $4,000. My salesman, Jeff Stevenson explained to me that another $1,500 would need to be put down for the deal to work. He also explained that the manager(I'm assuming Jeremy Guller) was reluctant to discount the price of the car because of how clean and "well maintained" it was. The car had 24,485 miles on it at the time of purchase and just over 26,000 miles on it before I realized in Laguna Beach that the manual transmission wouldn't go into reverse any longer. I brought the car in to have it repaired and was greeted by my service advisor, Brian. I explained that I just purchased the vehicle and the reverse function was no longer working. The next day, Brian asks me for my permission to send the car to an outsourced mechanic to figure out what was wrong with the car since their inspection couldn't figure out why the car wouldn't go into reverse. Once inspected by their mechanic, the problem found was that the clutch was too worn to allow the transmission to go into reverse any longer and that it needed to be replaced. I'm already irritated because I purchased this vehicle from "Galpin Premier Collection" thinking I'm buying a solid car AND I had already purchased two vehicles from Galpin before. I reply to Jeff that Galpin should repair it. He explains that he waiting to hear from a general manager who will return in the morning and get back to me with an approval by late morning. At 1:24pm, I send Jeff a text following up to make sure the repair has been approved. After receiving NO response, at 3:49pm I text, "Really Jeff? Come on man". 3 minutes later I receive a call from Jeremy Guller. The first words that come from his mouth is that the clutch is a "wear and tear" item and that they would not cover it. When I heard those words come out of his mouth, I was livid. I'm expecting a positive response but receive the complete opposite. He goes on further to explain that the tire diameter is significantly shorter than it was at the time of purchase 2 months prior. First, I'd like to say that if they were so good at checking the diameter of the tire, why couldn't they check the clutch as well? Especially after selling me the "clean" Z06 for thousands more than I should've had to pay. Second, I have babied the car and have been driving manual cars for 20 years! I've NEVER had a clutch wear out on me after 1,500 miles, of which most were freeway by the way! After he accused me of abusing the car, Jeremy did offer to "work with me". Really? Working with me is not what I want to hear after just purchasing the car. Working with me involves more money coming out of my pocket for an issue that should've been resolved before selling me the car in the first place! Regardless of whether the clutch is covered or not, there's a bigger picture to this story. Fix the clutch, and I continue to purchase with Galpin! Don't, and lose more money in potential sales because of the greed involved in the auto sales operation of Galpin than the cost of a clutch repair. I've been without my car now for 6 days and all I keep hearing is a bunch of chatter. Galpin's dropped the ball and they expect me to pay for their "Premier Mistake" There's plenty more for me to go on about. Like the second vehicle I bought that still has transmission problems, but I won't bore you guys with that story. For those of you reading this, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CONSIDER BUYING FROM SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN GALPIN. The people working around there made us feel welcome and comfortable. They listened to our expectations and desires. We left there with a new (used) car that we are very comfortable with and enjoying very much. I appreciate the time they took with us for without them. I rarely write a review for service, good or bad, but felt that others should be aware that this dealership is worth consideration when looking for a vehicle. More

I have purchased a 1984 fully equipped Van, Ford, Mazda, Volvo, and the last few automobiles have been Lincolns. In all the years dealing with them for a car, having a car serviced, I have never experienced anything other then the utmost respect and concern for my issue by every employee of the dealership. Regardless of my need regarding Sales, Service, Customer Service or just calling for information I have never been disappointed with the end result. Simply, I have alway felt that I was given a good deal, fairly charged for services, and was very grateful for their opinion. I had a 2013 Lexus GS that I loved and had been a long term member of the Lexus family. I needed to trade my car in for a larger SUV because of severe back pain and after visiting several other Lincoln d term member of the Lexus family. As a last try I called Galpin Lincoln and was connected to Joseph, told him where I was in my current lease and what I was looking for and what I was looking to pay. I also explain that was suffering from chronic pain and wanted this to be as easy as possible and "painless" as possible. He asked some additional questions to get a more accurate idea of what exactly what I was looking for and what I needed and what would help me the best. He invited me to come to Galpin have a cup of coffee (on him) and look and at Navigator. I arrived at the dealership which is stunning facility by any standard. Joseph was waiting for me when I arrived and had already brought down a Navigator for me to look at and parked it at the front door. Considering I suffer from chronic pain the simple fact that I didn't have to "tour the lot" was incredibly helpful. What I was surprised about what Joseph did not immediately find the most expensive Navigator on the lot but the one that fit my needs and the amenities I was looking for. There was no constant "up selling" or trying to get me to buy more than what I was looking for. I have been driving luxury brand cars for some time and expect a certain experience and treatment and Joseph exceeded all my expectations. He with the sales manager immediately came back with the deal that I was looking for and made the entire process of financing and purchasing the vehicle. The experience that I had at Galpin Lincoln and Joseph was impressive to say the least. I made a point of tracking down the General Manager to explain what an amazing experience it was. Any luxury car dealer could take notes from Joseph and Galpin Lincoln on how to work with customers to meet their needs. If you are going to Galpin Lincoln be sure to ask for Joseph Jones....it will be the best car buying experience of your life. More
