I had an issue with an out of warranty GPS. It was a very expensive option, and the antenna quit working. I rely on my GPS for my job daily. I called Ford Customer Service, who contacted Shane at Galpin. They arraigned to have my car brought in ,fixed and even provided a loaner car. The car I brought in was a 2010 Edge. Because of mileage, it was out of warranty. I was very impressed with the Customer Service, going above and beyond what was expected. I did pay a small deductible, but was happy to do so with the level of service I was provided. Thank you for making this right. More
I purchased my new Ford in 2008 from Galpin Ford, and have only taken it to Galpin for service. The consistent quality, fair and reasonable pricing and the exceptional customer service from Robert Young have only taken it to Galpin for service. I own 2 other cars and have a network of very good independent service garages, and have always been of the opinion to avoid high cost dealer service departments. My experience of previous dealerships has been lack of concern unless the car is a new vehicle and paying higher than market costs for repairs and parts. However Galpin, provides the best of the independent quality and reasonable pricing with all the best advantages of a large dealership. I have never been treated on a lower scale with my economy car service then what I see with other clients with luxury vehicles. I would highly recommend Galpin Ford both for purchasing a new vehicle and keeping it serviced. My 2008 Ford Focus is my work commuting vehicle and has a wopping 90K miles and has never needed anything other than tires, and oil changes and the complimentary multi point inspections. Only recently did the dealership replace the spark plugs and fuel filter. Over all I give Galpin the highest of ratings, and cannot imagine how any dealship could do any better! More
Galpin has an efficient receiving process when you show up for service. I got processed right away. They offer several comfortable areas, which was important to me since I chose to wait. There is a customer lounge, a full-on restaurant in the dealership, and a very nice in-house Starbucks shop. Their answers to service questions were crisp and complete, and I got out the door in about 3 hours, as promised. More
I bought a Shelby GT500 and took it to GAS to get it personalized. From start to finish, Justin Brockmeyer saw the work through. I've only had one bad experience at Galpin service dept. That was with a guy who's no longer there, I now see why he's gone. I didn't buy my car from Galpin, but the way I was taken care of, you wouldn' That was with a guy who's no longer there, I now see why he's gone. I didn't buy my car from Galpin, but the way I was taken care of, you wouldn't know it. I had a warranty issue that one service writer told me FORD wouldn't fix. I left po'd, I went back a few months later long after my warranty had expired. I told them what had transpired with the first service writer. I explained the situation, and Jermaine Nixon took my car and got the problem fixed for a very minor co-pay on my part. Galpin saved me money, and made me love my car again. Next time I want a new car I'll be going to Galpin for sure! More
