I want to complement Galles on the quality of the employees they hire. Matthew was my service advisor for my 2025 Equinox. He is very personable and calm and listened to my complaint that the drive employees they hire. Matthew was my service advisor for my 2025 Equinox. He is very personable and calm and listened to my complaint that the driver side window wouldn't go up and down. He immediately assigned the task to a mechanic who found that it needed a part. Matthew ordered the part and when it arrived he called me to let me know. I just came back from there after having the new part installed. YEA, my window goes up and down so I can now go through the driveup at the bank and car wash. Thank you Matthew! Donna Tillman More
Transmission issues, truck under warranty, has been in shop for 7 months. Body language from staff, we dont care. Excuse, they cannot get a transmission from manufacture. I was under impression Galles, shop for 7 months. Body language from staff, we dont care. Excuse, they cannot get a transmission from manufacture. I was under impression Galles, being a high quality Chevrolet Dealership, would have sime pull in getting a transmission sent in by now. More
I'll try to be objective. I am very disappointed in the way that I was treated by the service department. I'll try to list xxxxxxand cons Pro: my car got fixed. I think I am very disappointed in the way that I was treated by the service department. I'll try to list xxxxxxand cons Pro: my car got fixed. I think Pro:they washed my car before returning it Con: I spent north of $20000 with this dealership to get my car fixed. A majority of the cost was labor. For the job that was done, multiple diesel mechanics (3 in the Albuquerque area) quoted me 25-40 hours of labor. Galles charged 60 labor hours bringing the labor costs to $13000. I went with Galles because they quoted me the shortest time but didn't honor even that Con: they didn't offer me even an Uber to and from the dealership... even though I spent 10s of thousands of dollars. Not even going to mention what happened when I asked for a loaner. I spent $2000 on a rental Con: I would've only spent $1500 on the rental had they had my car taken care of in the time they quoted me. Not only this, I had to contact them multiple times to see where we were at in the process of completion. Matt in the service department laughed at me when I asked how much longer would it take. Then proceeded to tell me that other people need work on their cars too. I could go on but I'll be brief: I was treated like dirt and I question their billing practices. I'm sure they do not care but I will not be doing business with Galles ever again under any circumstances More
Cody Haynes in the Service department was great to work with on a transfer case warranty replacement for my Colorado. I came in on a busy Tuesday morning to drop off my truck, Cody was clearly busy working with on a transfer case warranty replacement for my Colorado. I came in on a busy Tuesday morning to drop off my truck, Cody was clearly busy working multiple service requests at once, but right away asked what he could help with. Pulled my truck in and took my info. Few days later Cody called to let me know that his Transmission Technician took apart the Transfer case and informed me it was not serviceable. Stated they were replacing the entire transfer case, I was assuming it would be a few weeks wait time for the parts alone, but in 1.5 weeks Cody and his team got my Colorado operational again. Cody was extremely reliable to communicate everything to me, and fixed this issue under the initial timeframe he stated. Excellent customer service at Galles Service Department. More
This was the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL service I have ever experienced in this industry! The rude and discourteous girls that answer the phone need more training especially with discriminatory and ethical beh experienced in this industry! The rude and discourteous girls that answer the phone need more training especially with discriminatory and ethical behavior! I was told, 'of course you have to pay, what don't you seem to understand!'. I was trying to get to correct amount to pay. My mother of Mexican descent also called here to help with 1200 maintenance bill but was also treated very unfairly and was not able to. If you want a valued reputation I strongly suggest you re-train such unintelligent and unrefined help who are the face of your company! I have told everyone about this experience! More
I went to this dealership because leading the service website was advertised: New Express Service starting at $59.95 in 45 minutes or less. Includes oil & filter change, tire rotation, multi-point inspe website was advertised: New Express Service starting at $59.95 in 45 minutes or less. Includes oil & filter change, tire rotation, multi-point inspection and complimentary car wash. I pulled in and asked for the express service. I was asked if I would wait at the dealership. Over two hours later my car was ready and I was told that there was no longer any express service. I shouldn’t be upset. The charge would be $100+. They finally honored the advertised price. They said if I wanted the car wash I’d have to wait another 15 minutes. I didn’t want to stay any longer and left without the car wash. More
No one picks up the phone at Galles! am dissatisfy with the service provided. My 2012 Corvette was kept on an open lot for a month. My car is always garaged. If I had known it would be am dissatisfy with the service provided. My 2012 Corvette was kept on an open lot for a month. My car is always garaged. If I had known it would be kept on an open lot for a month, I would have retrieved the vehicle and waited until the part arrived. For the four weeks, it was kept on an open lot at Galles, the vehicle was exposed to the elements. The vehicle had embedded residues from rain, dirt and bird droppings. The 60th anniversary stripping retained the most observable residue. Fortunately, I asked for the car washed before I drove away. Upon wiping down the vehicle, I noticed the roof had heavy dirt residue. I asked the attendant if he would remove the dirt from the roof. The attendant wiped it again, and the residue remained. I became angry. Upon receipt of the vehicle, I discovered the issues. I was told how my vehicle was stored outdoors during the four weeks waiting for the necessary part. The explanation implied that "this is the way in which the vehicle is kept when serviced." Thus, take it or leave attitude! I was frustrated and angry with the condition the vehicle was presented when returned to me. The service center sent the car to remove the residue from the striping. I am still not satisfied with the results. I will now have to pay the cost of the detail shop to go over the entire vehicle to get it back to the condition it was before I went to the service department. I bought my first Corvette from Galles in 1993 and another in 2011. My experience with the service department in the past has been good. I have always recommended Corvette service at Galles. The Corvette mechanics from Scotty, God blessed, continue to provide the technical expertise. However, since moving to the new location, the quality of follow-up after service and pick-up of the vehicle has declined. I am a member of the New Mexico Corvette Association and am friends with other NM club members. I will express my experience because I feel it was mistreatment of my vehicle. If you hold a vehicle for a longer period of time, the owner should be informed of how it will be stored. Thank you for reading my dissatisfaction. More
I brought my daughters Chevy Cruze in for oil change and tire rotation. They 'forgot' to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and now a low front tire indication is really a rear tire issue. I expec tire rotation. They 'forgot' to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and now a low front tire indication is really a rear tire issue. I expect more attention to detail. More
