I got to work with Tommy and I don’t know what kind of magic he is working over there, but not only did he find me a car I loved. It was affordable and he was able to get me approved with my credit. He definitely changed my views on big name dealerships and I will absolutely be back to get my end goal car once my credit is where it needs to be! More

No one picks up the phone at Galles! am dissatisfy with the service provided. My 2012 Corvette was kept on an open lot for a month. My car is always garaged. If I had known it would be kept on an open lot for a month, I would have retrieved the vehicle and waited until the part arrived. For the four weeks, it was kept on an open lot at Galles, the vehicle was exposed to the elements. The vehicle had embedded residues from rain, dirt and bird droppings. The 60th anniversary stripping retained the most observable residue. Fortunately, I asked for the car washed before I drove away. Upon wiping down the vehicle, I noticed the roof had heavy dirt residue. I asked the attendant if he would remove the dirt from the roof. The attendant wiped it again, and the residue remained. I became angry. Upon receipt of the vehicle, I discovered the issues. I was told how my vehicle was stored outdoors during the four weeks waiting for the necessary part. The explanation implied that "this is the way in which the vehicle is kept when serviced." Thus, take it or leave attitude! I was frustrated and angry with the condition the vehicle was presented when returned to me. The service center sent the car to remove the residue from the striping. I am still not satisfied with the results. I will now have to pay the cost of the detail shop to go over the entire vehicle to get it back to the condition it was before I went to the service department. I bought my first Corvette from Galles in 1993 and another in 2011. My experience with the service department in the past has been good. I have always recommended Corvette service at Galles. The Corvette mechanics from Scotty, God blessed, continue to provide the technical expertise. However, since moving to the new location, the quality of follow-up after service and pick-up of the vehicle has declined. I am a member of the New Mexico Corvette Association and am friends with other NM club members. I will express my experience because I feel it was mistreatment of my vehicle. If you hold a vehicle for a longer period of time, the owner should be informed of how it will be stored. Thank you for reading my dissatisfaction. More
Dripping with Greed...I’ve been looking for a vette for my wife that would fit what she likes. Never owned one before, so the journey was pretty exciting. That is until I dealt with JR (Robert) and Andy at my wife that would fit what she likes. Never owned one before, so the journey was pretty exciting. That is until I dealt with JR (Robert) and Andy at Galles Chevrolet. At first, JR threw out $30,000 over MSRP. I was instantly disturbed at such an outrageous price. But, he came back, smoothed things over and gave me a “better” deal at “just” $15,000 over. Still not sure, I pondered for a day and then got back with him. I was willing to do the $15k over, asked him extensively about delivery times and costs and he then sent me an order. Lastly, at around 7pm my time, I asked about financing, and he was to get back with me next day. I told him we could pay cash as well if it made it easier on his end. We were excited about the car, even though the additional “market adjustment” didn’t sit well with me. Just doesn’t seem ethical, but that’s another story. The VERY next morning, I received an email and a call from Andy demanding I pay $20,000 over if I want the car. Just disgusting. Any normal person would think they have deal once someone sent over a sales sheet with pricing with my name and address on it. The only question that remained was which way to pay and if I wanted the stupid luggage or not. But, for someone to take back their word and lead someone on like this is purely sickening and vile. I don’t think I will ever buy and another GM product and we’ve had many in the Cadillac line. I know most car salesmen are sleazy, but this dealership is completely and utterly unethical. Keep your car Galles and GM. Sell it to some other sucker. More
I've now brought my 2004 Chevy Silverado in twice for repairs. At present, we are trying our second pick up. The last time we had it in for a cooling HVAC repair and the truck came home with a permanent buzz. Truck running, truck off, keys out and truck off. I stayed for emails probably up to 20 minutes and the buzz stayed. Clearly a grounding issue. I took it back in for some simple things and to get the buzz fixed. Now, my truck, with a new battery this summer, doesn't start unless jumped.... They are trying to blame the new battery. However, I'm pretty convinced they screwed up the electrical system somehow. They also ignored my request not to fix the buzzing because they made that a $1000 fix on me. How do dealerships get away with shoddy/crappy work and charge? Other businesses have to make it right.
