Excellent Customer Service I was a first time buyer when I purchased my vehicle from Galles Chevrelot and it's one of the best choices I have made. Don't waste your time going, do your research first!!! I was looking for a small car and looked on a few websites here in town. I was looking for a new economical car that was good on gas. I ended up getting calls from Chevrolet dealerships around town asking me about my car shopping. They all have nothing nice to say about each other by the way. I got a few calls from Galles. They were persistent and borderline harassing. They called me, texted and emailed me everyday. They were nice at first, I spoke with a lady, her name was Leesha. I asked her a few questions on the Cruze. Then she asked when I can come in to see the car, then told me about a sales event and how they are different than any other dealership. I don't remember telling her I was going to come in, but I did have intentions to stop by in the following days. I get another call from a saleswomen named Jessica. SHE WAS RUDE!!! Demanded to know where I was, how far I am and when I should be there. The experience reminded me of a telemarketer or bill collector constantly call me. After I told her I was going to be come in for the weekend, she became bearable. I asked her about some sales specials for the cruze. She gave me the wrong rebates and flat out lied just to get me in the store!!! HOW LOW CAN YOU GET TO LIE JUST SO PEOPLE CAN WALK AROUND YOUR LOT??? The sales men seemed lost in there own world walking around talking with each other. I never got to meet any of the two ladies I spoke with, it turns out, they aren't salesmen and just call center reps! Their sole-purpose was to get me in the door. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND ENERGY!!! Terrible I am writing this review to assist other customers and hopefully preventing them from such a tedious and frustrating experience. First of all, this is my second experience with GALLES. Approximately 2 years ago I contacted GALLES Chevrolet online and scheduled an appointment to test drive a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 LTZ Crew cab pickup. Later after a 45 minute wait, I was met by a young man, cannot remember his name, and was allowed to take the vehicle for a test drive. I liked the vehicle and was interested in purchasing it and informed the young man. The young man condescendingly said "you know the vehicle is $50,000?" And I informed him that I was aware of that and was financially equipped to proceed with the purchase. I filled out paperwork and he asked that I send him the VIN and pics of my trade in to help assist with moving forward with the purchase. I sent him the VIN and pics of the vehicle as soon as I returned to my home. After several attempts to get feedback or a returned call from the young man, I decided to move on to a dealership who wanted my business. Within the next few weeks, I showed up to Reliable Chevrolet and purchased a beautiful new 2014 Chevy Silverado 4x4 ltz crew cab pickup within 4 hours of arriving without an appointment. The staff was friendly and the financial manager was very accommodating. I later received a call from Mrs. Galles who called as a courtesy to check on my service. I informed her of my unfortunate experience with her business and she was very apologetic and asked that I consider her dealership in the future. On September 9th, I decided to give Galles Chevrolet another chance, as I needed to get the parking sensor looked at for service and was interested in purchasing a new vehicle for my wife. I scheduled an appointment online as I live 180 miles from Albuquerque and received a call back advising that they could not accommodate the time I had requested and was told that I could take my vehicle in earlier. I had plans to attend a business meeting and asked if I could receive a shuttle ride or a loaner car so that I could drop my vehicle off then attend my meeting. I was told promptly that they do not offer courtesy rides nor do the have loaner vehicles. If I wanted to take my vehicle I had to make other arrangements or reschedule. That should have been my first clue that customer service continues to be subpar at Galles Chevrolet. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Leonard Garcia who sat in my vehicle and rudely said "you know your warranty expired after 36000 miles." I advised him that I had purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty. He then said with a smirk, " it costs "$108 to run the diagnostics and if the warranty doesn't cover it you have to pay it." Again I smiled and said yes, I understand that I am responsible for payment if my warranty doesn't cover the cost. I then noticed a gooseneck hitch I was considering purchasing and asked for a price. I was dismissed and asked a second person. He said "I think it's about $700 or $900 then walked away. I left my vehicle and received a call that the part needed, had to be ordered from Denver and would be in the next day. I reminded him that I was from out of town and said that I needed to pick up my vehicle until they could get the part tomorrow. He said that the sensor module was under the seat and the seat was removed and they had to keep it until the next day. Again no accommodations for shuttle or rental car. He said the vehicle would be ready by the next day at 2pm. I returned to pick up my vehicle the next day at 330pm and the vehicle was not ready. Leonard was not in so I was directed to Christopher Ortega. He informed me that the new part did not correct the problem and it was in fact a sensor that was malfunctioning. They could not replace it without the warranty representatives authorization and once it is approved, it would take time to complete. He could not give me an estimated time of completion. I am beyond frustrated by this point and received no consolation for my troubles. I finally picked up my vehicle at 530pm and received no acknowledgement of my inconvenience and frustration other than a bill for $100. I do not usually complain or waste time completing a review, but I thought it was important for others considering using Galles for business" I feel concern for others who cannot express their discontent for the poor service and unprofessional staff like our children, grandparents and grandchildren. It is important that they don't get exploited. I hope the owners take a long hard look at customer service and understand how much business they have probably lost to dealerships who truly care! All the commercials and bulletin boards are futile when the service is so bad! More

They gave me a great price for my trade in above what blue book was asking and they got me a great interest rate on the camaro I was lookin at. They didnt pressure me into this or that..they asked me exactly what I was looking for payment wise and came back with just that.... It was definitely a pleasure dealing with Anthony and the rest of the staff there... Already recommended to 2 of my friends looking to get new cars.... Thanks... I love my Camaro...!!!! More
The BEST car buying experience! I had owned my Chevy Tahoe for 11 years and it was finally time to retire it and get a new vehicle. I hate shopping for a new vehicle. Well, that is what I would have said before my Galles Chevrolet experience! I had been to a few other dealers around the city and was about to give up hope. Every place promised they could help me and I would go through all the steps, only to strike out. Then thankfully I found the team at Galles! They where fantastically friendly and super helpful without making me feel uncomfortable pressure or frustration. I think because they have been in business for over 100 years that is why they understand the everyday "working man/woman". They have the most lenders to choose from and for someone like me who is rebuilding my credit, they found me a lender and I left there with a vehicle I wanted...my new beautiful red 2015 Chevy Trax! The Galles Chevrolet team gave me such peace of mind and great happiness! From here on out I could never and would never want to take my business anywhere else!
