It was a quick sale once in the dealership. Pickup service was foiled but fixed quickly. Pickup service was foiled but fixed quickly. More
What began as great buying experience turned into one of the worst and it still has not ended. We originally were having a good shopping here with Jenna. She was extremely knowledgable about the trucks we saw. She answered all questions thoroughly and knew the nuances of the models. We found a great option and initiated the buying process. Mid negotiation, Jenna’s shift ended and we were then lead to work with Tony Ferrera. This is when the negotiation went down hill quickly. We were originally set on an offer verbally only to be told that they could no longer do that a few moments later. We walked out and was immediately called back to see what options we can do for financing. Dealing then took another 2 hours of back and forth. Each time, Tony would have to walk the 20ft across the sales floor to consult with a manager that could be seen at his desk. Eventually a deal was made via Tony after a sales manager called over air pods telling them to have us sign the deal. Sales managers were 20 feet away the whole time. Never once did they come over to introduce themselves or offer any assistance in the buying process. There was continuous miscommunication between the manager calling the shots and Tony in front of us which made the experience infuriating. We needed to wait until the next day to finalize paperwork on the car. When we showed up the next morning at 10 am, the finance people who we had worked with the day prior were not present (even after we had confirmed they would be). We waited for almost 30 minutes in the lobby before someone would help at all. Multiple sales people and managers did not even ask what we needed. Unfortunately Tony then saw us and attempted to complete the finance and paperwork side of things. He had no information or knowledge which required multiple phone calls and running around to get what we needed. We thought the nightmare was over but had not been handed the second set of keys. Tony informed us that it was locked in an office he did not have access to until the following Monday. He offered to mail the key to us and leave with an "I owe you". I am wiring this over a week since then and the key has not arrived. I called the dealership multiple times over the week to see if it had been mailed but was passed around with no one knowing. Other complications of working with Gallatin Ford: we negotiated a spray in bedliner as part of the deal. Tony promised the service department would call to set that up the following week. After waiting several days without a call, I then called to set up the appointment. They were unable to find any paperwork confirming this deal on their end and were nice enough to trust that I had it written in the official paperwork. I anticipate this will be a problem when I bring the car in for service. Overall would not recommend this experience unless you are willing to not negotiate for your car, enjoy rampant miscommunication, and a sprinkle of disrespect. I implore anyone reading this to seek out other dealerships. More
