I purchased a new EcoSport , 2 major repairs involving transmission repairs and now full replacement while under 34k miles/under warranty. I purchased my car from Seelye Ford in Kalamazoo, no help with loaner or rental whatsoever and my car still had issues after the repair. I started using Dorrance Ford in Galesburg, after several complaints for discriminatory language/practices- Dorrance finally put me in a loaner ... only they thought it was appropriate to use a car without reliable brakes, no working horn and an active check engine light on. The car was filthy, smoked out with pet hair and stains all over. I moved my car somewhere else. I’m afraid if they can’t diagnose issues on their loaner, how can I trust them to fix my car? More
I bought my Fusion at Galesburg Ford. From start to finish, sale was a pleasure and since that time I have used the service department to keep my car in perfect shape! I called Dennis C the service manager at 5:00 PM to let him know my daughter had a tire pressure warning light illuminated on her 2012 Fusion. Even though it was quitting time, Dennis assured me that he w him know my daughter had a tire pressure warning light illuminated on her 2012 Fusion. Even though it was quitting time, Dennis assured me that he would see that everything was taken care of. Dennis told me to have her bring it right in and then he stayed late and personally made sure that the car was repaired quickly. While my daughter waited, Bill and Ed both stopped in to the waiting room to see if everything was all right and to see if my daughter needed anything. Brought my Jeep in for a bad water pump. Have been a customer of the Ford dealer in Galesburg since 1966. We've always been pleased with our cars and with the service provided by this dealership. The sales force is easy to deal with and did since 1966. We've always been pleased with our cars and with the service provided by this dealership. The sales force is easy to deal with and did not push us into making a decision. In fact, when we bought our last car, they suggested that we wait until our lease was closer to the end date before purchasing this car. We followed their suggestion and have been pleased. Service always has been great at Galesburg Ford. I do miss Tom Barnett, but understand that life has to go on. I also like the convenience of having a quality service department within 2 miles of my home. They always have been great about picking up and delivering the car after the service is completed. For years, I've recommended this dealership to friends and family for the reasons stated above and will continue to do so. Margaret More
