Great Overall Experience!! I recently purchased a brand new Ram Truck from Galena Chrysler and my experience couldn’t have been better. I have always owned GM vehicles so switch I recently purchased a brand new Ram Truck from Galena Chrysler and my experience couldn’t have been better. I have always owned GM vehicles so switching to a Ram pickup was tough for me. However, John and Rosean made the choice to switch pretty simple as they gave me more on trade for my Silverado than any other GM dealer would and also sold me the new Ram thousands, literally thousands less than I could buy any other brand truck. To top everything off what the did the day I picked up my truck is what made me a loyal customer for future purchases. I live in Madison, WI so their dealership is about 2 hours away and they had to dealer trade for the exact truck that I wanted. So I drove down to Galena, IL did all the paperwork and gave them my truck on trade. Then the owner of the dealership personally drove me all the way back to Madison to the dealership where my new truck was at. Talk about service!! More

They told me over the phone that they did all this work on it and it was gone thro with a fine tooth comb and was ready to go. So when I get there I start my inspection. The major thing were never touched that they said they did ie remove and install new torque converter . I called them out and they back peddled and came up with different stories. Not a huge issue to me tha they didn't do it cause I've got a trans at home for them. It was not a deal breaker it just pissed me off cause they lied. So we then took for test drive and the HEAT does not work. I live in MI so heat is a must. So I was really ticked, I had to pull arms and legs and they agreed they would send me a brand new blower motor and a little money back. So we signed every thing and started to leave. We got down the road and my wife went to put headlights on, and guess what...... HEADLIGHTS DID NOT COME ON! What the h$ll. Fine tooth comb my a$$. The owner lady is a complete b,i,. So we drove around the block and got our money back. Screw this dealer ship. This place is a joke. 7 hour drive times 2, 2 hour 30 mins dealing with scabby lemon dealers = 16-1/2 hours of our life wasted. Their real name should be Postal LEMON DEALERSHIP BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!! More

WORST PLACE EVER!!! I have put approximately $3K into it so far & that doesn't include the $3K that I'll be spending next week on a new transmission. (Oh, btw, it already had a used transmission in it-didn't know that) It came with car tires on it that weren't even the right size, the wrong kind of oil in it...xxxx, it didn't want to start the first night I got it! Sure, I was offered a warranty for $2.5K for a year, but I figured, he'll, I don't need that, they checked it out & it's ready to go!! Nope! There is no possible way I will ever buy from this place again. I know at least one other coworker who feels the same. They are rude, sell lemons & don't respond to any comments once the vehicle is purchased. They think it doesn't matter because they have the market locked down around here. I hope somebody will read this & decide to go some place else...it's bad folks! More

Most Dishonest Salesman EVER!!!! I was looking at a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500, I spoke with Alex Wilson over the phone and showed my interest in the vehicle they had for sale. He answered m I was looking at a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500, I spoke with Alex Wilson over the phone and showed my interest in the vehicle they had for sale. He answered my questions and was very polite up front. I stressed to him that I did not want a truck with a lot of rust and being 700+ miles away that I didn't want to drive there to come home empty handed. He assured me the truck was very solid with little to no rust. I asked him to take some pictures of the underneath of the truck so that i could see. He did and sent me pictures with a glare hiding the under body of the truck. Making only the driveline and bottom of the frame visible. I noticed the underneath of the truck was wet from something and he told me it was an oil leak to be fixed and that the vehicle was going to go through service and have it all taken care of . I asked again for him to send me clearer pics of the underneath of the truck so i could see the extent of the rust. He said he would have them next day, next day comes around he would have them next day but assured me the truck was solid and barely any rust. I told him I had made plans to come purchase the truck being that it was in such good condition. From the pictures that were posted the truck did look very clean and rust free. I called him the next day asking for the pics again and he told me he would have them the next day for me again and reassured me that there was barely any rust visible from anywhere even on the lift. I called back later that day and spoke to another salesman who repeated the same lies to me and said Alex was out for the day. I let him know i was coming a day early to purchase the truck and make sure it would be out of inspection. He said it would and I made the 12hr straight trip. Upon arrival he acted funny immediately. The truck looked beautiful from a distance, but once you were close up it was ridden with rust to the point it was unsafe to drive. The Frame was way worse in person, the body mounts near rusted off, the rocker panels were rotted from one side to another and falling off from the decay. He expressed that he had not seen that when he had it on the lift (which is completely impossible), so he played the usual you're here now what will you offer me. I even showed him how bad it was and my hand almost went through the outer rocker. The only thing that stopped that was the linex on it. The only time he even apologized was at the end when he was returning my deposit. DO NOT TRYST ANYTHING HE SAYS, ITS ALL A PLOY TO GET YOU THERE!!!!! More

Incompetence seems to be the standard. I recently bought a car at Galena Chrysler. My mechanic spoke with the "service technicians" at Galena Chrysler to find out what type of oil they use I recently bought a car at Galena Chrysler. My mechanic spoke with the "service technicians" at Galena Chrysler to find out what type of oil they used in the car. He was advised they used a regular high mileage oil which is, in Galena Chrysler's words, exactly what this car needs. Turns out that was completely incorrect. In fact, using regular oil instead of synthetic will gum up the car and now I have to replace my solenoid. I'd take it back to Galena Chrysler and demand they repair it for free, though after reading other reviews I wouldn't trust them to touch a bicycle, let alone my vehicle. Thanks Galena Chrysler...your incompetence has yet again screwed up another person's car. More

It still hasn't got here yet first there was some problem with the truck transporting it to us.then it was the Jeep itself had a issue , then the truck again transporting had a issue again. Now I have to wait to next week to see if the guy transporting my truck doesn't break down again. I was never once called about any of the issues. I had to call every few days to see what was going on with it. Alex wilson was very nice to sale the Jeep. But after that no updates or after me leaving voices mails to call me back to see what is going on with my wife's jeep still no answer. I got a hold of him once and asked what is up with my jeep. All he said it's on its way.my wife have missed out on a whole month of work because of this. Terrible service from this dealership I will not be getting another vehicle from them. More
