Galeana Chrysler is an "independent" dealer and as such does not have to honor the warranty offered by Chrysler Corporation. Michael Jackson, the Service manager repeatedly lied to Chrysler and the as such does not have to honor the warranty offered by Chrysler Corporation. Michael Jackson, the Service manager repeatedly lied to Chrysler and the BBB regarding a service problem I encountered. He made claims that were untrue and put words in my mouth without ever having met me prior to my complaint. They serviced my Town & County van (69K miles) due to a Transmission problem, said they had to order a part, it was okay to drive in the meanwhile and that they would notify me when the part arrived (this was from their service advisor Dyson). They never got back to me and when I phoned them about a month and a half later, they said the part was never ordered. The following day, the transmsion totally went and my wife and I were stranded on Alligator Alley. Jackson, who I'd never talked to until that day, claimed that it was my responsibility to contact them to see if the part had arrive and that it had arrived and since I didn't call them it was my problem, not theirs. This was new to me since in the past, Galeana service had sent out post cards when parts arrived plus I was told a day earlier that the part had never been ordered. Then he told Chrysler that I had admitted to driving the vehicle when I was instructed not to (another total bald faced lie). When I contacted the BBB he told them that I took the vehicle before they were finished with it (another lie). Not one honest word came from this mans mouth. I can't even imagine what kind of influence someone of such poor morals would have on his family. Chrysler would not help me beacuse they said that Galeana was an independent dealer and the decision to honor the 70K powertrain warranty was theirs (Galeana's). If you think buying a Chrysler because of their warranty is a good deal, guess again. You will be screwed by Chrysler, Galeana and in particular by their unscrupulous service manager Michael Jackson. In the end, I had to have my van towed to a dealership on the east coast of Florida and rent a car to drive back to my home in Cape Coral Florida. It cost me about $3000 by the time I finshed paying for rentals and repairs. I wouldn't buy a stick of gum from Galeana. More
By fat the worst sales experience for anyone to have and the reason I would never purchase a Jeep is because of Mr Richard Cecil of Galeana Jeep. From the minute we were introduced to Mr Cecil he was rude, the reason I would never purchase a Jeep is because of Mr Richard Cecil of Galeana Jeep. From the minute we were introduced to Mr Cecil he was rude, condescending and less than friendly. He kept trying to tell us that our trade was a piece of worthless junk and that his new Jeep was worth $1M! Mr Cecil walked into the sales office as if a genie appearing from a bottle and decided that I was an idiot because I am a woman so I must not know anything about automobiles. This guy is an expert thief who offered us $5000 less for our vehicle than it was worth and tried to charge us $3500 more for his car than any other nearest reputable Jeep dealer. Stay away from these dishonest people. What a disgusting display of behavior. More
had a rear seal leak that was origiAlly fixed in mo.and still on warranty. took it to galeana, told them the problem. they said it WAS on warranty. i get a call, its not on warranty and will cost us over 4 still on warranty. took it to galeana, told them the problem. they said it WAS on warranty. i get a call, its not on warranty and will cost us over 400$. went back and spoke with mike-service mgr whom said a pin was missing thus it wasnt on warranty. we called our service mgr in mo.whom said it was put in and how did we drive 5,000 miles without it?! the wheel would of fallen off of the truck without it! mike said dusty said it wasnt there and that was the price-$38 for parts and over 300 for labor plus diagnosis fees. he was rude, discortious, had a terrible attitude and didnt seem to care about our busines. we took it to another nationwide garage who fixed everything within 1 hour for $168.(which is what our guy in mo. said it should cost).we had to pay galeana 99$ labor fee to get our truck back or he-Mike would put a lien on our truck!!!!DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE CENTER. THEY PREY ON SENIORS AND TOURISTS.THEY OVERCHARGE, AND FABRICATE PROBLEMS. THEY LIE ABOUT WARRANTY WORK, probably figuring once its in their garage you will just go ahead and have them fix it. looks like im not the only one they tried this on. More
This is my personal opinion. AVOID THESE IDIOTS! Visited this place two times and hated both visits. Dusty from service has an attitude problem. These guys did an inspection at 47 thousand miles and stated this place two times and hated both visits. Dusty from service has an attitude problem. These guys did an inspection at 47 thousand miles and stated “spark plugs appear to be original” and should be replaced when in fact they had less than 200 miles on them. The estimate to replace these plugs was $250. It cost me $11 and took less than 15 minutes on our Caliber. They also stated “replace front brake pads and replace front brake rotors” when in fact they front pads have less than 15 percent wear and the rotors mic out at 1.005 and 1.004 respectively. The estimate for this repair was $472.25. These guys are a joke. Overpriced for work that does not need to be completed. I never thought a dealership would try to steal from me. If you are with Galeana feel free to contact me by referring to 161582. I have everything forensically documented here. More
Took car in for warranty work. Dealer set tire pressure at 36 PSI not 33 as recommended so tire pressure light would go out rather than retraining sensor. Air conditioning would not go below 54 at vents w at 36 PSI not 33 as recommended so tire pressure light would go out rather than retraining sensor. Air conditioning would not go below 54 at vents when I took in. They said it was 44 but when their tech tried to get it to 44 in my presence it would not go below 54. Severe wind noise rattle. They said they couldn't hear it and would not take a drive to hear it. Attitude of Service Manager was terrible. Called the owner, Frank Galeana, who said he would talk to Service Manager. Called me back and said there was nothing they could do. Took car to Naples Chrysler and fixed everything under warranty. Galena soaked me for $62 to change oil and rotate tires. Naples offers same thing plus a car wash for $49. More
