Gainesville dodge has had my car in the service department for about 3 months. I have been waiting on my vehicle to be repaired. It’s always we are waiting on the part!! Had discussed the problem (one of the tailgate support cable is not supporting the tailgate properly) on my new 2024 Gladiator with the service advisor on the phone, made an appointment, we drove 45 miles cable is not supporting the tailgate properly) on my new 2024 Gladiator with the service advisor on the phone, made an appointment, we drove 45 miles down from Lake City, got there early, they took my brand new Gladiator in shortly after the appointment time, 15 minutes later they drove it back outside, did NOT say anything to me, after 15 minutes sitting there looking at my Jeep parked outside I walked out to my Gladiator just to see that they did NOT fix the issue. Walked inside, the service advisor was not there, asked for the service manager, also spoke to a sales manager at that time, then met with the service manaer outside, showed him the tailgate support cables that were NOT fixed, we walked over and looked at the cables on other new Gladiators out in the front and how on those Gladiator both cables are evenly supporting the tailgates. He was very rude and said "that on alot of them they come that way and their is nothing he can do about it". I walked inside got my wife and we left, without ever seeing or signing any paperwork. The next day I called the sales manager back. I also looked on-line and on the Jeep /Ram forums and this is a "Known Problem" and their's a Technical Service Bulleton (#23-032-19) addressing the issue.
