My spouse and I bought a new car from this dealership in 2018. When we purchased the car, we were also sold a 5 year maintenance plan that would cover all of the services for those 5 years from major routin 2018. When we purchased the car, we were also sold a 5 year maintenance plan that would cover all of the services for those 5 years from major routine service down to simple oil changes. The first time we went to get a service done they instead of using the service plan we had and were paying for, they charged us over $300. We confronted them and they said they would have finance correct it. Well it's over 5 years later and they still have not reimbursed us or provided any credit to correct the money they essentially stole from us. The service department is claiming that because the original people that worked there when it happen are no longer there, it's not their problem. Well my service records and record of my payment are with you, I don't expect the tech from 5 years ago to have that record, I expect the company and the people currently there to have it. Which they do because they literally gave us a receipt for it now in 2024. I have bank statements and even the Future Hyundai of Concord's electronic records to show they made us pay for a covered service out of pocket. More
This place will treat you horribly. They have a reputation for damaging cars during repair and not disclosing it, hoping you drive off the lot and can then blame it on you. New ownership is a joke and will not take any ownership for anything, they will tell you to kick rocks, which sucks because they used to be excellent and are riding on the coat tails of the owners that actually cared about service. We've been fighting with them for 5 years to credit us for a service that they made us pay for but should have been covered under our plan. They're now telling us "Well no one is here from 5 years ago". I've never been treated so disrespectfully, and they had the audacity to try to buy our car from us today over email. None of the people we talked to about this last year when they damaged our car and didn't tell us are here either. You read the right, they damaged our bumper while repairing our car and didn't tell us. When the shuttle driver picked me up during the repair process they told me they pick up people all the time for this issue. Don't give them your buisness, they won't care about you, and try to pull a fast one on you when they damage your car. More
The service department is untrustworthy, they try to sell you services that arent needed and Maribel is very very unprofessional and rude. Purchased a new vehicle with extra options (like window tint and third party warranty) and decided that I didn’t want the cars extra options within less than 24 hours later. Finance guy indicated the refund will happen almost right away, but it’s been almost 9 weeks and they haven’t returned the money. It felt like a pushy finance manager adding endless options to take your money and not refunding it once you decide the option was not needed. I followed up a several times and the responses have been harsh and borderline unprofessional with emails in ALL CAPS TEXT. Additionally, the timeline for the refund of our money has moved several times. I really expected better from the dealership experience and am very disappointed. I am also dissatisfied with the lack of response from the general manager and sales rep that has been included in communications but has failed to acknowledge the deficiencies in their process. More
I came in for some service when my leased vehicle was having engine trouble while on a road trip passing thru town. I was helped by Dominic, who is an absolute super star. Dominic was able to diagnose the issue and get it resolved in no time. He also identified a minor recall on my vehicle and got it fixed while I was there. Dominic single-handledly saved my roadtrip and earned this dealership a top-notch rating. Oh, and my car got washed. If you come in for service, go find Dominic. More
Just Go Somewhere Else There are lots of dealers in the Bay Area so there is really no reason at all to deal with this one. For a large purchase it's worth it to go a little further to get an infinitely better experience. The dealership itself is dirty and the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. If that doesn't turn you off, the service sure will. The "closer" was completely dismissive of my wife, wouldn't even shake her hand or look her way even though the car was for her. We walked out and that should have been the end of it. Unfortunately for us, we felt bad for the salesperson and decided to let them try again. They finally got the car we wanted and after pulling teeth I thought we finally agreed on a sale price before rebates (ex. 30,000). At the time, there was only a $500 rebate available (net price 29,500). We come in and buy the car a few days later. After getting home I look over the paperwork and I realize that the dealer found an additional $750 rebate that no one mentioned or gave me credit for. The sale price changed to $30,750 with the same net price of $29,500 but now the dealer pockets $750 more and I pay sales tax on that $750. Thanks... I'm still dumbfounded at how long it took to actually get through the paperwork. I already had my financing in place elsewhere and had a check in hand. Three hours later we finally were able to leave the dealership. Everyone moves likes snails at this place and could care less. There was literally no one else in the dealership buying cars but us. At least we were able to sit in "lounge" and eat 3 day old popcorn while watching the employees go in and out of the disgusting bathrooms without washing their hands since there was no soap or paper towels. Then you get the run around and a TON of excuses as to why you got what you have. If they had just explained from the beginning that this is your problem and that we would like to do this (move something) because it is the standard. I might have been OK with that. That is called COMMUNICATION!!!!! Talking in circles and telling stories is not! More
Good overall but a few things fell short I was very pleased with the financing aspect of the transaction.
