Purchased a used truck from Full Throttle. During test drive, I identified numerous items to be fixed. As part of the agreement, they agreed to fix all and stated all were fixed. The AC on During test drive, I identified numerous items to be fixed. As part of the agreement, they agreed to fix all and stated all were fixed. The AC on the passenger side is not working and continues to not work despite them assuring me they fixed it. I reached out to Baker and received no response. There were numerous delays with delivery with very poor communication. Complaint filed with BBB. Do NOT recommend. More
I recently purchased a used 2015 Toyota 4Runner from Full Throttle PowerSports. Overall, the experience was mixed but worth sharing for others considering buying from this dealership. Pros:
The sales tea Throttle PowerSports. Overall, the experience was mixed but worth sharing for others considering buying from this dealership. Pros:
The sales team was friendly and low-pressure, which made browsing their inventory feel relaxed and comfortable. If you're someone who doesn't like being hounded by pushy sales tactics, this is a good place to go. They also have a unique and interesting selection of vehicles on the lot. Baker from the dealership stood out for being especially fair and reasonable when post-purchase issues arose. Suggestions & Cautions:
While the customer service was pleasant, I didn’t receive much detailed information about the vehicle itself, so I highly recommend doing your own research before heading in. Be prepared with questions and know the car’s background in advance. Communication-wise, skip the online chat and email—neither worked well for me. Calling the dealership directly is the best way to get a timely and clear response. I did run into some problems shortly after bringing the vehicle home, including needed repairs that continued over a few visits. Thankfully, Baker was helpful in resolving things fairly, but I can’t recommend their service department based on my experience. One big red flag came during financing. Rodney, who handles that side (under Prime Wheels), insisted I had to purchase a two-year warranty—costing nearly $3,000—or my loan through Westlake would be denied. This is absolutely not true; I’ve been approved by Westlake at other dealerships without being forced into buying a warranty. I felt pressured, and while he did lower the cost to fit my budget, I only agreed out of desperation and convenience. Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a no-pressure buying environment with a cool selection of cars, Full Throttle is worth a visit—but do your homework ahead of time, be cautious during financing, and don’t rely on their service department. More
Salespeople were average in terms of kindness, but they cut a few corners when getting my truck prepped for sale, as most dealers do. It was never cleaned, and they broke a few parts while prepping it without telling us that we never knew about until a couple months after. Overall average dealership, so don't go expecting something special. More
