3 weeks for a 30 minute fix that cost $325 My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee went into this shop 3 weeks ago for work on the emissions system which I was told was covered by the warranty. Today I ge My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee went into this shop 3 weeks ago for work on the emissions system which I was told was covered by the warranty. Today I get a call asking for permission to fix the problem by doing a manual regen of the DEF. I was told this would cost 325 dollars and take 2 1/2 hours. I want my jeep back so I say go ahead. 30 minutes later I get a call saying my Jeep is ready. Wait so either I"m being lied to or the work was already started when I got the call asking for my permission. So now I'm talking the the guy in charge of my car. I want to know why it took 3 weeks to do a 30 minute fix on my car. He said the guy was already working on my car when he called to ask permission to work on the car. Fine. At least he admitted this part. My next question is how doing a regen could possibly cost 325 dollars? Also why isn't this considered part of the power train and why isn't this covered by the warranty? My car didn't work and was in limp mode because of this. I was then told it was because of lack of maintenance. The oil had been changed prior to the exhaust filter error coming on. How the xxxx does the oil change have anything to do with the exhaust system anyways?? Plus the Jeep had just been serviced and wasn't do for an oil change until 51k miles according to the dealership I bought the jeep from. So no, it was not lack of maintenance. I bought the Jeep with 46k miles and it barely has 48k miles now and most of that was from highway miles from 2 long trips. He then told me the guy had been working on my Jeep for 4 days and that's why the cost was so high. So my exhaust filter is reading full and it took 4 days for this guy to figure out to do a manual regen? Plus this was another lie. I received a call from this same guy on Monday saying he was starting work on my car. Today is Wednesday...still too long to figure out how to fix this imo and talk about price gouging. 325 dollars. That's just the problem with actually fixing my car. My other problem was I originally signed up for a service date online. I got an email back after signing up online saying I would receive a call to confirm. Do you think I ever got a reply by phone? Email? Text? I got nothing. I finally just brought the jeep and dropped it off and had to start this whole process from scratch. Then after dropping the car off I get a text saying if I have any problems or questions to text back on that number. Sounds pretty great right? It would be but NO ONE pays attention to those texts and you will never get a reply. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I'm still pissed they can look me in the eye and charge 325 dollars for something that shuts the entire car down and say it's not covered under the power train. How is the exhaust not part of the power train?? Also I could have dropped this off an any number of shops in town and had it fixed in 1/10th of the time for probably 1/10th of the cost. 3 weeks?????? Give me a break!! More

Repair Work I had to take my truck in for a problem with the ignition system not accepting my key fob. In a very timely manner, they had my ignition switch repla I had to take my truck in for a problem with the ignition system not accepting my key fob. Very disappointed. I was looking around for a while before I started inquiring about a new vehicle. I found one I liked online and dealt with a Jeremy Meadows. The process was unorganized because "technology " was down. Very frustrated since I was already approved with financing. I know car sales is a numbers game and being a female, I expect a certain amount of haggling. I do not like being treated like a dummy. Having a Bachelor's Degree, I expect to be given a little credit on how things work. Long story short, the vehicle I wanted was not even available. It was on a sister lot then loaned out to a customer. If I am buying a NEW vehicle, I want a new vehicle. Not one that could have been abused, smoked in, or dirtied while being loaned out. Ended up going with another Jeep dealership and within a day, I signed on a brand new vehicle. I wouldn't recommend this dealership from my experience. More
