We bought an F-250 in December 2020. Our purchase experience was pleasant enough. We ordered running boards which were on display in the lobby. We had to return the truck to have the running boards installed and perma-coating applied. When we went back to pick up the truck, they had installed the wrong running boards. We were told the ones we ordered were discontinued. The parts and customer service reps told us Ford makes running boards similar to the ones we ordered and so it was decided to replace the wrong running boards with these. We were told they would be in by Feb. 15 . No calls , no contact from Toya. So we called back at end of February. We were told middle of March, and again no contact . When we called back again Toya said she would not call us until the running boards were in her hands. Really?? So disappointing! You would think Fritts would be working harder to fix this problem, which was their fault in the beginning. The running boards they installed are slim in width. I have injured knees and feel unsafe stepping down to get out of the truck . We wonder if this problem will ever get fixed. We are at three months and counting. More
Although everything went fine with my complimentary first service, you should (as a dealership) devise a way that allows the technician to operate the vehicle safely without moving a seat that does not have service, you should (as a dealership) devise a way that allows the technician to operate the vehicle safely without moving a seat that does not have memory. It seems my car is always serviced by the shortest technician on the property - I can barely fit in the car after a service. Trivial but frustrating. More
My service advisor Thomas was friendly and very helpful. I originally came in for one recall and ended up leaving with 2 recalls fixed. I had asked him what time would this be done. I told him my daughter needed my car because she was going to Las Vegas. I called him at noon and was pleasantly surprised my car was done .
