Chris Malhas was the service advisor I worked with for the routine service I came in for, and he was very helpful in letting me know the estimate for what was recommended service for my mileage. After looking up the specifics of what I had already had done at a previous service appointment, he let me know that less was needed and I was kept updated on where my vehicle was in the process and everything was completed in a timely and expected time frame. I have worked with Chris before, and I am thankful for his clear communication. I have one or two other occasions had less smooth service experience, but when I have worked with an experienced advisor like Chris, I have had good experiences at Frisco CDJR's service department. It’s been a month, they never entered the inspection into the system, so I cannot complete registration for the sticker. They won’t answer the phone OR texts now. I brought my vehicle (21 Wrangler) in for service in mid/late November after experiencing Death Wobble. Lester was my service advisor and recommended the Steering Stabilizer be replaced (under warranty) mid/late November after experiencing Death Wobble. Lester was my service advisor and recommended the Steering Stabilizer be replaced (under warranty). The part was on back order, so he requested the part and said I would get a call when it was in so we could take care of the problem. January rolled around and my warranty was set to expire soon so I checked in with Lester and the part was still not available. I took my Jeep to another reputable shop and they informed me that the steering stabilizer did need to be replaced, but the root of the issue was 3 other items that wear on the stabilizer. I took my Jeep back to Lester to let him know and inquire about their diagnosis. He was insistent that nothing else needed to be done and was very patronizing about my request to look at the other items I was concerned about. After a lot of back and forth, he finally said that he would get those parts replaced under warranty IF I would do the after market stabilizer that wasn't going to be covered. When I inquired about getting all four parts taken care of under warranty he said my options were the 3 parts under warranty now with the after market stabilizer or the stabilizer that was on order (when it came in later) with the 3 additional parts not being covered. This made no sense and he was not able to explain why an issue under warranty would not be fixed without additional expense. I felt the only safe option was to pay the hundreds for the after market part to get the issue resolved. After the service was complete I spoke with R More
