I brought my car in for a recall repair on 3/16/23 and was told the need for repair was confirmed and I would get a call in a couple of days once the parts are in stock. So, after waiting 14 days with no was told the need for repair was confirmed and I would get a call in a couple of days once the parts are in stock. So, after waiting 14 days with no response I called and confirmed the parts were in and scheduled a new appt. I brought my Dodge Journey in for a "front relector recall repair". Got there at 8am for the service to be done. After two hours I asked the asst. service manager how much longer would it be, and he responded it would be about another hour and a half. Then 15 minutes later I got a call saying my car was ready (amazing). I got home and took a look at the front of my car and noticed the driver side front panel was no longer flush with the fender. I checked the passenger side and it was loose and floppy. I looked in the wheel well and saw there were missing fasteners and some were just hanging there unattached. I drove back to the dealership and asked the service mgr. to please complete the job. Now two service guys were out there looking and confirmed the issue. Then after a 20 minute wait the service guy came back and said there was damage to the splash pan and they could not put it back together like it was when I brought it in. I'm sure they could have at least put all the good fasteners back. I'm now stuck with this damaged splash pan and a half finished repair job. In all fairness I'm was not aware of the damaged splash pan but curious how the repair went from another hour and half to a 15 minute completion. I think this total B.S. Wouldn't you think a dealership that promotes customer service and care would not return a damaged car that they in their own words stated "that we cannot put your car back in proper condition" without at least notifing the customer of this. If I had not noticed the condition of my car when I got home and came back to the dealership I would be unaware that I was driving myself and family in car in a hazardous condition. I hope you understand my concern. More

Malfunchtioning car wash caused no delay with complimentary car wash, so Jacob gave me a FREE oil cha proceeded to get me in service and out quickly.
