Horrific experience- Made a service appointment over one week in advance- then when we brought the truck in, they did not look at it for another three working days. We had to call to check on it and they promised they would get to it the following day. We made calls every day and they were always too busy to talk and could they take a message and get back to us. We never got a call back. We only got responses when we insisted to stay on the line until our service advisor was available. Friendship Ford then took another three days to get back to us with a quote- but just a text, with rough estimates, we still had not received an actual quote. Now we are six working days into the service. After two weeks they called and said the mechanic that was working on it was leaving and they would find someone else to finish the truck. We drove down to the dealership to speak with the Service Manager. The Assistant Service Manager told us that they would put "their top mechanic" on it and should have it done in another two days, three at the most. We told the manager that that finish would put it at three weeks and we STILL had not seen an official quote. Finally got the quote sent to us later that day. But, it took another full week plus a couple of days to finish the truck, which put it at four weeks total. During this time they did not offer us a loaner vehicle until two and half weeks into the work, and only after we complained about having to share vehicles while they found a new mechanic. By the way, the estimate shows that the work would take less than one week but it took their new "top mechanic" another week and a half to finish. When we picked up the truck we asked for a discount since it had taken one month to do a week's worth of work. Friendship Ford showed us a list of things that they claimed they had not charged us for as a "credit." This included the oil filler cap (which they lost), as well as the extra seals, gaskets, and coolant they said they needed. The prices they quoted included gaskets so either Friendship Ford lost the gaskets with the filler cap, broke the ones paid for during the work, or can't figure out how many are needed for the job. Additional coolant as a credit? A coolant change was part of the work we paid for, but apparently Friendship Ford does not know the coolant capacity of their own trucks and had to get extra. So the list of "credits" turned out to be the list of errors they made but didn't charge us for. Worst experience in my life with a service department. As a counterpoint to this experience, I took a different truck to Tri-Cities CDJR a week later to be diagnosed and fixed. Made the appointment a week in advance like Friendship. After I dropped it off I received a call in four hours with an apology that they could not finish the diagnostic that day and would I like a loaner vehicle. They promised to finish the diagnostic the following working day- which they did and immediately emailed a written quote. The work was completed in one day as promised. If you can, go to Tri-Cities CDJR instead of Friendship Ford, you will be treated better and more honestly. More

Oil was misted along the firewall and coil pack, plug wires, etc. causing voltage leak on acceleration . I had to take it back 5 times. Each time they apparently cleaned the area instead of replacing the oil soaked components. Finally, I scheduled service to have it all replaced even if I had to pay for it. Make appt. 20 days ahead and stressed that they order all the parts needed well ahead of time. Dealer is an hour from my home. I dropped my truck off before they opened and called 8 hrs. later to be told that they did not have all the parts yet. I heavily rely on service after the sale for my dealer choices. Based on my experiences with Friendship Ford, I will be looking for another dealer for my next truck. More
The salesman was great but the service department is unreliable and incompetent. Appointments are taken by a third party and mean nothing. Your vehicle will sit there for hours without even being chec unreliable and incompetent. Appointments are taken by a third party and mean nothing. Your vehicle will sit there for hours without even being checked out. When service was performed, the mechanic left a wire disconnected and we had to turn around and go back when the check engine light came on 30 minutes down the road. Took 2 trips and almost and act of congress to get them to check out a safety recall that should have already been taken care of when my wife purchaced the car a few months ago. Even then, it was clear that we were a very low priority for them. The extended warranty is a scam, 95% of what's "covered" doesn't even meet the deductible so you'll pay out of pocket for almost everything other major repairs. When I need a new truck next summer, I'll be taken my money anywhere else. More

The salesman did not seem interested in selling me a vehicle today. I arrived to test drive a 4 Runner and after waiting a few minutes Lynn came back and said I can’t let you test drive a vehicle today. We don’t have any temp tags and not sure if will have any tomorrow. What the HECK!!!! I have purchased 2 vehicles from the Friendship Ford family in the past 6 years and they are not willing to let me test drive a vehicle. I have never had this come up at any company so what is up with this dealership? Customer service is terrible here and they didn’t even try to come up with a plan to take care of me. I have worked with Friendship Hyundai in Bristol, TN (bought last 2 vehicles from them) and get my company vehicle serviced at Friendship Ford across the street and have been satisfied with both of these dealerships. How can Friendship Chrysler Jeep be so unconcerned about customer service and selling vehicles? I would definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More

Brandon and Gabe treated my wife and I as if we were family from the get go! Throughout the process I was afforded the opportunity to rub elbows with everyone from top management on down to the vehicle prep team, and I can attest to the fact they are all consummate professionals that are customer oriented!
