I bought my focus brand new from friendly ford in 2015. It had a bad clutch and friendly ford replaced it and every since then my push button start doesn’t work right. I was told the clutch had nothing to It had a bad clutch and friendly ford replaced it and every since then my push button start doesn’t work right. I was told the clutch had nothing to do with the push button start but, all I know is the morning I took my car in I pushed the brake and start button and it started immediately like it did from the day I bought it but after the clutch replacement it takes 10 or 15 seconds before it starts having to hold the button in while waiting. The clutch they put in was bad and they had to put in another clutch. I had an oil change there and the kid that pulled my car around drove both of my 18 inch passenger side rims down the cement curb and they said they would take care of the problem. They spray painted them with flat gray paint. I had to make several calls to friendly ford before getting a call back until I made them send off my rims to an outside company and have them done right with clear coat while feeling like a bother the whole time. More

In May I called to schedule a recall repair. I was told it would be a 3 month wait for appointment, but the repair was short and they'd try to have it done by end of business day. So, August comes and I dr it would be a 3 month wait for appointment, but the repair was short and they'd try to have it done by end of business day. So, August comes and I drop it off for repair. I get a call 2 hrs later saying the "inspection" was done and I could come get it. I asked if the repair was done and he said it was not. I would have to come back another day for the repair. I asked why I was not told that an "inspection" needed to be done first and why it took 3 months just to get it inspected. No answer. I asked why I was told that I should have the car back by the end of the day if they didn't intend on repairing it that day. No answer. Since they attached my VIN to their shop for the repair, I can't even take it to another Ford dealership for the recall repair. I asked if I was stuck with them and they said yes. So, if you have to have a recall repair done, don't go here. If you need another type of repair, consider finding a good certified independent mechanic. I've never had this issue with independent mechanics who are very up front with what needs done and when it will be done. This was a typical dealership who thinks that their time is more important than yours. Save yourself some time and aggrevation...go somewhere else! More
