I have purchased many vehicles over the years from many different dealerships and salesmen. A few years ago I was almost over my mileage allowance on my lease and needed to do something. After dealing with several dealerships and asking them to watch for a specific type of car, and not getting any response from any of them, I ran into Tom Bertsch. Knowing he worked for a car dealership, I asked him to keep an eye out for me. The following Monday he called and told me he had a car for me to look at. I could not make it to the dealership for a few days so he brought the car to me. We liked it and decided to visit Friendly Chev and see what other options they had. Tom showed us a few more that had come in during the week, and to our delight, we found one that fit the bill. That night we signed the papewrork and were owners of a car we really like. Tom was as pleasant as he could be, answered all our questions, and everyone else there was just as friendly. On leaving, I grabbed a few of Tom's calling cards and I plan on sending anyone I know interested in a new car to Friendly Chev. It was a great experience! More
I was in the market for a new Malibu ECO and used the Chevrolet Build Your Own website to locate dealers in my area that had my "built car" on hand. None of the dealers in South Dakota (they sell mostly pickups and have fine inventories of them) had cars with the options I wanted on their lots. I located several in the Minneapolis area that did, so I contact several. Friendly Chevrolet had the best internet discount from the MSRP price so I contacted them. Chris Taylor answered all my questions and seemed very knowledgeable, so I drove over from SD and visited with him. He showed me the car that matched all my criteria, we test drove it, he answered all my questions and seemed very got at his job. Friendly Chevrolet offered my more on my trade-in than my local dealer or any others that I contacted, so I purchased my new 2013 Malibu ECO on the spot. Drove home a very pleased new owner. The only downer was that they did not have the molded splash guards in stock that I wanted installed, but I can have that done locally. As a follow-up Chris Taylor answer my email questions and provided me with PDF file information that answered questions that I had not even thought to ask. He is a young man doing a great job. I will definitely consider this dealership in the future. More

I loved my total experience at Friendly Chevrolet. My sales guy was not pushy or aggresive, and did not talk me into anything I did not like. I bought a new Chevy truck from Friendly chev, I returned the truck for a oil change and to have a damaged seat belt repaired. The oil change was not done well at all: Did not top off the washer fluid even when the lite was on, did not wash vechicle and did not install service reminder on the front windshield, took way longer then promised. The service advisor informed me the seat belt was not covered under warranty! I explained the belt does not retract like it's designed to and since got stuck in the door when closing and pinched the belt, which caused a tear. I also talked to the general manager who agreed with the service manager that this was not a warranty issue, I would have to pay to get the seat belt replaced. I left the dealer disappointed and went to luther brookdale chevreolet in Brooklyn Park, I explained to Brookdale chev what happened. Brookdale chev made an appointment for the next day. When i dropped off the truck at Brookdale chev they offered me a free ride home and would pick me up when the truck was ready(very nice touch). Brookdale chev also topped off my washer fluid because the lite was on and did a safety check for free. I will not return for service or ever buy another vechicle fom Friendley chev again. They would rather argue then help the customer with an obvious warranty claim. I would stay away from Friendly chev! More
We came into Friendly Chevrolet looking for a new truck with a great many options on our wish list. It actually had a few more options which we were happy to see. Working out our deal on the trade and purchase of the truck was one of the smoothest transactions we have ever experienced. We truly enjoyed working with Jeremy and Chad, as well as all the others involved putting us in the new truck. I have gone back into to Friendly Chevrolet after taking delivery and have always been greeted with a smile, and asked how they could help me. Friendly Chevrolet truly is a friendly place and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. More
