It was a very long wait to drop off the car. I had an appt but took almost an hr to be seen. Also, would truly appreciate it if my car was washed when the service was done. I took my truck to Fremont Toyota for its 40K service, and I am beyond disappointed with the experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30 AM and was told the service would take about 3-4 hours. Af and I am beyond disappointed with the experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30 AM and was told the service would take about 3-4 hours. After waiting over 4 hours without any update, I decided to call and check in. The person at the desk told me to start making my way over because they had to close at 5 PM — despite not even confirming whether my truck was ready. When I arrived, I was told it would be just 15 more minutes. That “15 minutes” ended up being closer to an hour. On top of that, I discovered that no one was even working on my truck when I got there. I ended up waiting over 6 hours for a service that should have been completed much earlier. To make matters worse, the lounge was closed since the dealership was closing, leaving me with nowhere to comfortably wait. Throughout the entire ordeal, no accommodations were provided to help alleviate my dissatisfaction. Instead of offering solutions or expedited service, I was just given excuses about why it was taking so long. On top of that, I received no text messages, calls, emails, or any form of correspondence throughout the day to update me on the status of my vehicle. I’ve been to other Toyota dealerships before and always received timely updates and communication throughout the day, which made this experience all the more frustrating. I did however receive a text message from the dealer sending me an offer for my truck which was unwarranted and unneeded and it was a low ball considering the condition and the fact I have a Trail Edition. This was my first experience at Fremont Toyota, and it will definitely be my last. Communication was poor, expectations were completely mismanaged, and the lack of respect for my time was infuriating. I expected more professionalism from a Toyota dealership, especially considering how many other options are available in the Bay Area. More
