Chris- I just left you another message with regards to the drive shaft coupler issue on your vehicle. We understand the frustration you have with the recall item. Ford Motor Company has policy in place that will only allow us to do this repair under their coverage terms. We believe the best thing for you is to escalate the issue directly to Ford Customer Service @ 800-392-3673. Explain to them that your vehicle is having issues with the coupler again and your are requesting assistance from Ford. I would be happy to discuss this issue with you. Rob, thank you for responding. Unfortunately, you have not addressed my main complaint: the rude and condescending tone displayed by Mr. Dean Gustafson. When you spoke with him, did he happen to mention how he interrupted me repeatedly as I tried to get an understanding of what exactly this recall issue was? Did he mention how he snickered and laughed at me as I expressed my concern that this part failure could endanger my life as I drive long distances? Believe me, I will be escalating the issue with Ford, and will return to a Ford dealer to get my service done. However, it will not be your dealership, ever again.
