Good sales experience - bad warranty support Purchased a 2017 Explorer Sport to replace my 2014 Explorer XLT that I also purchased at Freeway Ford. The 2014 Explorer XLT was underpowered and had Purchased a 2017 Explorer Sport to replace my 2014 Explorer XLT that I also purchased at Freeway Ford. The 2014 Explorer XLT was underpowered and had premature rust which wasn’t covered by warranty because it hadn’t advanced to the point of perforating the metal. The rust would only continue so I decided to seek any support the dealer may offer. The repurchase experience was good and so far my new Explorer has been a nice improvement. The one, and significant downside was that I was offered assistance to resolve my 2014 Explorer’s rust issue by Freeway Ford’s sales manager, Carlos but never really received any genuine help from him. He said that since I purchase my Explorer there he wanted to do what he could to help. That was unfortunately not what happened. I sent several emails and left multiple voicemails but Carlos never tried to contact me. Only after seeking a new vehicle to replace my prematurely rusting Explorer did I hear back from the dealership. Sales associate Brian Ward contacted me and he was helpful and professional and I received a fair value for my trade in with his help. I would have purchased elsewhere because of the poor experience I had with their sales manager, Carlos, but I didn’t want to hand off my rusting Explorer to someone else and also didn’t want to receive a smaller trade in value after notifying another dealership of the rust problem. I purchased a protective sealant for this vehicle so I’ll see how this one holds up. Overall the repurchase experience with Brian Ward was good but I can’t speak too highly of the warranty support I did not receive from Freeway Ford. More

Patrick went out of his way to find exactly what I wanted, and I'm sorry to admit, I am pretty nit picky...lol Amber was super fast and efficient in working up the financing, and very easy to work with. Also, I have had my oil changed at the Quick Lube and have never had a problem with them. They have always been super friendly and super fast and very willing to please. I read that someone was complaining about their service, but....if you're nice to them they will be nice in return. I would TOTALLY recommend Freeway Ford to anyone looking for a new car....based on my experience! P.S. James was also very nice in showing me other options to add on to my car, I'm sorry I didn't need any of his offerings. More

Awesome Buying Experience!!! I had an interest in a Ford Escape. Contacted Freeway Ford in Bloomington, MN and spoke with Barbe Castjohn. After telling her what I wanted, she pu I had an interest in a Ford Escape. Contacted Freeway Ford in Bloomington, MN and spoke with Barbe Castjohn. After telling her what I wanted, she put me in an 2017 Escape Titanium at a better price than I was finding in Texas. Even with airfare, hotel and car rental, I still saved big money. Everyone we met at this dealership was not only friendly but eager to assist with anything we needed. Barbe Castjohn was the absolute best in seeing my way through the entire sale. She checked on me on the drive back to, ask if I had any questions (which I did with Sync3) and to make sure I arrived home safely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP. More

Finance was the easiest process I’ve been through. Service however was poor and the only reason I would not recommend this dealership. Service staff seemed very lazy and o had to twist their arm to look into and fix the issue on my vehicle. Service staff will also abuse your vehicle if you have anything sporty as they did mine. They put 3 miles on my car and somehow managed to burn 11 miles of fuel in that time. Vehicle was fixed but in twice the expected time and I did not feel at ease leaving my vehicle with service staff. More

I’ve had a nightmare of transmission I took a loss on my 2014 Ford Fiesta that I bought at Rusty Eck in Wichita, KS and ended up with negative equity. I’ve had a nightmare of transmission problems including being completely stranded with my new fiesta multiple times and having to lose out out on pay from work. Finally, my fiesta completely stopped running and I had to have it towed with no choice but to move on. I couldn’t be happier with The service that was provided to me at Freeway Ford from Andy and Thomas while choosing a new vehicle to lease. I appreciated them educating me on the leasing process to help me out of my upside down loan. When I bought my 2014 Fiesta car new in KS I trusted Ford that I had a safe car for life. I never thought starting at 30,000 miles I would have transmission issues and at 57,000 miles I would have to consider a loss. I will never buy a new car again. I do sincerely appreciate Thomas and Andy for their help when I came to them helpless. Thomas and Andy were great at educating me at what was best for me and assisting me into a new leased ford vehicle and I enjoyed it. it’s people like Andy and Thomas that keep people coming back to Ford. More
