I commute to work and wanted something with power but also a good fuel economy. I also adore fords redesign of the mustang bringing it into the new age with style but still holding onto its aggressive roots and nature. This baby is the reason Chevy redesigned their outdated looking Camaro (My opinion not fact). I grew up around muscle cars like my dads firebird and grandfathers Chevelle so I’ve always felt it was in my blood to own one eventually. I found out that Freeway Ford was the only dealer in the area that carried a premium model under 50k miles, and at an excellent price below KBB to boot. I was also thrilled it was painted in Fords Ruby Red which coincided with my birthstone of July. I called in for an appointment to see the car and worked with Mr. Nolan Monke and Barry McDaniels throughout the day working on the credit application. Barry called me multiple times to go over a few things to insure this vehicle became mine and to let me know that Nolan would be there when I was able to get there. Mr. Monke did a fantastic job on the leg work and making sure this vehicle became mine and nobody else’s which I absolutely appreciate on the highest level. There was some outside interest as well but early bird catches the worm. I dropped a down payment to hold it and the rest was history. The Financial manager also went to bat for me because I had no credit whatsoever and this was my first actual car purchase and not a hand me down. My mother and I went to pick it up and they had it all clean and ready to go. I test drove it and went through all the bells and whistles with Mr. Monke and was pleasantly surprised by this vehicles responsiveness and attitude on the pavement. It will let you play nice, but is also ready to cut loose with no Turbo lag whatsoever if you want to check it into sport mode and pedal down with the traction control off. But I’m getting a bit off topic here. What’s this review is about? It’s about the salesman that I worked with. Mr. Nolan Monke. He sold me the car I’ve been waiting to get for a few years now and he knew that I had to have it. He was a very pleasant individual to work with and didn’t press selling anything else to me other than the Mustang I asked for. And with only 6 months of experience he’s got the charm and the knowledge that the car salesmen these days don’t typically have. They want to sell a car and move on to the next individual. Nolan did not do this. He’s made sure everything is properly taken care of and even called me a couple days later to insure I’m still loving my vehicle and that there are no problems. This gentleman is the reason people buy cars from authorized dealers. I feel he and the dealer genuinely care about their customers whether it’s an act or not. I understand sales, I did it for 10 years. But there’s a huge difference with knowing the product you’re selling and wanting to make sure that person is getting what they ask for, more so than just selling something to someone to get that commission money so you can move on to the next. I didn’t even ask if he’s paid in commission. For all I know he isn’t. That’s not the point. He sold me “The” car I wanted. I did the research on the vehicle yes, but he helped me understand the vehicle and all it’s extras. He didn’t have to. Like I said, I wanted this vehicle. He helped me need this vehicle. So for that I salute you Nolan. My 4th of July was all the more Red, White, and Blue because of you buddy! Thank You. More

The problem was with the throttle body which apparently isn't covered under the power train warranty (not very happy with Ford about that). Brian the service mgr was very empathetic with the situation and really took care of us. I was happy with the service that they provided and the truck is working great. The work was completed in a timely manner as well. More

Above and Beyond It's kind of nice going to a great service area when you have to go to a dealership with related repairs instead of the standard auto repair shop. Our It's kind of nice going to a great service area when you have to go to a dealership with related repairs instead of the standard auto repair shop. Our Explorer had a few various Ford Explorer specific problems that they were able to fix and run diagnostics for future reference. I bump that up against what prior auto shops have told me and found they really didn't know and needed to rip everything apart, then would need to order the Ford part anyway. so if you want to go to a dealership and get it done right the 1st time without leaving your car for a week, I recommend Freeway Ford - it was a very positive experience. It beats Tousley, Midway and a third one up in Brooklyn Park I cant remember- hands down. More
